Valkyrie is such a lovely, bright and friendly salon and is a huge asset to the Staple Hill community. I've been a customer since they opened and Lucy cut my hair long before that. She's an absolute gem and I can't imagine going anywhere else now! Lucy does a great job of my hair and I get lots of compliments - you can't ask for more than that! Lucy and Linda have both cut my kids' hair too and they both take a lot of care to make sure that their client is happy. Recently, Emma has been doing a brilliant lash lift and tint for me. Her calm manner and attention to detail make the experience wonderfully relaxing and I walk out with much more glamorous lashes that I was naturally blessed with!

Lucy has been doing my hair for 15 years now and I would not go anywhere! She has built a wonderful haven in Valkyrie and I constantly recommend Valkyrie and ALL the tram to anyone. I have had treatments with all the team here. Lucy will always do my hair (including more recently my bridal hair), Emma has done facials and nails for me before, Linda does a banging blow dry and I have recently had massages from Laura too. Everything has always been perfect, prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere in this salon is like no other!!

Emma and Lucy the owners are warm and welcoming, always ready to offer a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits. I have used both Lucy and Linda to do my hair and both do a fantastic job with the highlights, colouring, wash and cut. Never had a bad experience and could not recommend enough. Been going to this salon for well over year now and I always feel welcome. I see both Emma and Linda regularly and have always had a great experience. Both work with professionalism and passion. Lucy is great too, I have not had my hair done by Lucy but she will always take the time to speak to me and include me in conversation. She has a great working relationship with her clients. Valkyrie staff are fantasti. I instantly feel at ease as soon as I walk through the door. Great service and great staff!

Lucy and Emma along with their amazing team have created a warm, welcoming, friendly and professional salon which offer amazing services which they put their heart and soul into. Lucy has always gone above and beyond when I've attended my hair appointments and I can't wait for my eye lash lift and tint with Emma. I also can't wait for my massage which is booked in with the amazing team too. I couldn't recommend this salon enough as the salon is beautiful and so are the people. Thank you to the team for making my experience so far the best and if you havn't booked with these ladies you are missing out.

When I moved to Bristol last year I found this lovely hair and beauty salon. Lucy is an amazing hairdresser, friendly, professional and very reasonably priced. I also have microdermabrasion done at the salon by Emma, and again a true professional, but friendly. I love going to the salon, I am always made welcome and can guarantee leaving their feeling like I have spent time with friends. I would highly recommend all services at this business.

Been going since it all started. Lucy is a genius with colour but also making sure my hair stays in the best condition. Last visit was Monday evening where I walked in blonde and came out with the most amazing purple & pink locks. Now I have found this salon I will never go elsewhere. Firstly, Lucy one of the owners, asks what I want, my answer everytime is "Purple and short!" That is exactly what I have. I'm currently sporting a mohawk and I love it. This salon is clean, tidy and they are always friendly. I love booking in with Emma, the other owner. I feel as though I'm am the only person in the world. She makes me relax with her calming personality. I have had different treatments with Emma from eyebrow shaping to a gorgeous pedicure. Every time I have visited, she has cleaned after the previous client and she is so friendly. I feel as though the ladies in Valkyrie are my family. I love visiting them. Now time to book in for another treatment!

I have lost count of the number of hair and beauty salons that I have frequented over the years but Valkyrie is by far and away the best. Linda and Lucy have both worked wonders with my hair, which has always been awkward and hasn’t improved with age. Emma is great with the beauty treatments, Tropic product orders and lovely chats. The extra special element though is the feeling of being part of a family: the friendly atmosphere and welcome, lots of conversation and laughter, going out of their way to organise my appointments, offers of lifts on a couple of occasions. They even have my favourite biscuits: what more could I ask 😘 Thank you ladies 💖💖
