As someone who struggled with new people and places, I was very anxious in finding and going to a new hair dresser, specially someone who would know what to do with my curly hair but James and the whole team made me feel so at ease from the moment of taking the phone call, to the lovely lady chatting and making me feel at ease while washing my hair to James and his amazing advise and expertise! I cannot thank them enough so the amazing service! So happy to have found somewhere so nice and professional.

After seeing a Facebook post for hair models I decided to make contact with Katie. From my first contact with Katie she was very professional. When I arrived at Cwtch she was warm and welcoming. We discussed what was achievable for my hair, under the guidance of James, as I had many different colours and shades of brown going on from a lot of home box dyes and box highlighting kits. Once the plan was decided Katie got to work talking me through each process. I can say I am so happy with the final result! My hair hasn't felt this smooth in a long time the cut was exactly what I asked for. I would highly recommend Katie's services at Cwtch Salon. C.Griffiths

Lee is a MAGICIAN. I cannot thank him enough for what he did to my hair! I came in with box dye red and I wanted a brown to blonde balayage, he spent 4 hours doing my hair and I was so pleased with it I cried at the final result. What he achieved in one sitting is incredibly impressive!!! Lee made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I’m 33 weeks pregnant and was always making sure I was ok and checking if I needed anything! My hair looks amazing and it’s given me such a confidence boost. The rest of the staff there are wonderful too. I really can’t fault anything. Thank you Lee! I will be back <3

I can not express how much I highly recommend this place. My 8 year old son had his hair cut today by James. I'm always on edge with these things as my son has ADHD and alot of people just can't deal with him being so hyperactive. James was absolutely brilliant with him and also gave him a fantastic hair cut. My son now says he only wants his hair cut there from now on

James and the team make you feel so welcome and at home. It's truly a pleasure to have my hair done there. Couldn’t recommend this salon enough! James is absolutely amazing, so welcoming, and the customer service above and beyond! James was recommended to me by a family member and I am now also recommending him! I had wedding hair trials, a cut and colour at the shop. Even my sister booked in, also being very happy with the service! Katy the colourist is also wonderful, I love my colour and the condition of my hair after having it done! James travelled to the venue of my wedding and spent all morning with my extended bridesmaids, mother and the little ones, who also wanted to have their hair done. James was brilliant, he catered to the need of my bridesmaids, with a very vague criteria and produced some beautiful updoos! My hair was also just perfect! ❤️ I will certainly be using the salon from now on!

Honestly, if you like me have been looking for a good hairdresser for years and dread going as you end up hating the cut or colour or they have ruined your hair by doing what you think you want even though it is going to ruin the condition of your already damaged hair! (I have experienced all and resorted to colouring and cutting my hair myself!) Or if you find hairdressers 'clicky' then Cwtch is your answer, I can't recommend them enough! I felt instantly relaxed in the surroundings and confidence in James. It is the first time in about 10years I have walked out of a salon and not tied my hair back! James and Lauren thank you for restoring my faith in hairdressers!

I tried Cwtch for the first time this week and it's the only time I've ever booked in the next appointment with a hairdresser. I had a cut with James which I was really pleased with as he returned volume and shape to my curly hair which had been dry and snapping, so I left feeling a lot better. I had a lovely head massage whilst my hair was being washed and I must say the team are great company; I even left with some tips on meditation! I really like James' philosophy which he's brought to the salon. I'd definitely recommend giving Cwtch a try.

Now I am incredibly fussy about my hair but this place is my firm favourite hairdresser! Not only are the products ethically sourced, they smell lush and you walk out feeling decadent yet your wallet doesn't feel the pinch. Love the deep, soulful chats with James and the fact that they have an array of vegan milks to sip on whilst being pampered. NHS staff also get a comfy discount. Love the vibe of the place and always come out happy with my hair. I highly recommend.
