Barrie is a superb hairdresser, he has been cutting/colouring my hair for years and I always get the best results from him. He listens to what you want and he is a joy to be around. My hair is in the best condition it has ever been in thanks to his expertise.

I have been coming to Limelight for approximately 10 years and Barrie never fails to deliver. He is an excellent hair stylist and always cuts my hair in exactly the way I ask (some hairdressers can get scissor happy but not Barrie, he listens to what the client wants). His prices are very reasonable and the salon is beautiful. I cannot recommend Limelight enough.

I have regularly had my haircut by Danielle for years and am never disappointed. Kasey has also started colouring my hair and the treatment is so good! They both know exactly how I want my hair and the vision I see and explain exactly what they will do to achieve it. Always friendly and helpful and so reasonably priced! I enjoyed my first visit here, as a client of Dani and Kasey, who I followed from their previous salon. What a treat! A lovely, friendly atmosphere, and as it’s so small, often we all chatted together, clients and staff alike. But when I was having my magazine fix, I didn’t in any way feel obliged to join in any conversation. I’m very pleased with my hair too, but I knew I would be. This is a great place, not all style and not much substance, as many salons seem to be. Well done, Danielle and Kasey!

My experience at the Limelight Salon was very professional and second to none. My son usually comes out of the hairdressers very unhappy so it's hard to get him to go at all. School photos were fast approaching and as I was in the area I thought I'd give limelight ago. Barrie checked with myself and my son all through the cut to make sure we were happy and even fitted us in between other appointment's as we were a walk in. Very friendly and my son was very pleased and asked if we can always go to limelight in future !

The most amazing hair salon in lovely Pontcanna- the service was personal expert and excellent. My first time and have now booked up more appointments. Barrie the owner listened very carefully to what I asked for and I was delighted with the result. Can't recommend enough five star all the way.

You can always rely on Barrie for an exceptional blow dry which everyone will compliment you on and will also last for days. Don't make the mistake though of going next door to Goji Hair where they charge over twice as much at £63.00, far more than their advertised price, for a 30 minute blow dry with Greg, where it looks like you did your hair yourself!!

WOW what a find...its hard to find someone that knows how to deal with curly hair. Barry is amazing and i came away feeling and looking great. Im just sad that im travelling but thinking cardiff is worth coming back to from NZ just for a haircut!..Barry you are awesome
