Haven't had my haircut since before lockdown started in March 2020, so had a lot of hair to deal with!! However, Julie did a fantastic job and I cannot recommend her enough! She is friendly, shares some great tips and is obviously a very talented hair stylist. I will definitely be returning again for a trim soon x

This was my first visit to Supercuts in Cardiff. I have to say, Julie my stylist was very welcoming, courteous and professional. I felt relaxed immediately.She gave me a fantastic cut blow-dry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Came in for a wash cut and blow dry, Julie was so helpful for the entire appointment, she gave me advice on how to care for my scalp, blow drying tips and was super friendly. She also cut my partners hair and again gave lots of advice throughout and was so chatty and friendly. Amazing experience 😁

Julie has cut my hair for a number of years and I'm always happy with the results. I called in yesterday and, in addition to a fab haircut there are two other things that need highlighting. Firstly, Julie was working by herself...she is currently the only hair stylist at this busy salon yet still smiled and chatted happily to everyone, despite having to juggle customers and walk in enquiries. Second, a young lady was the customer immediately before me. She had the most gorgeous long hair so it was a little surprising when she asked for a very short haircut. It turned out she is due to start chemotherapy very soon and the haircut was in preparation for some hair loss. What was undoubtedly a traumatic experience for this amazing young woman was made much more enjoyable by Julie who immediately engaged her in chatting about their shared love of running, fitness all the while giving hints and tips about caring for her hair. From where I was sitting Julie allowed this young lady to maintain her pride and dignity whilst having a haircut that I'm sure she never envisaged having to have❤

I have a favourite stylist, and Julie did an amazing job yesterday. She took plenty of time to discuss the colour I wanted, created a mixture of two shades with highlights for impact and then she cut and styled it beautifully. I felt so happy when I left, I can’t recommend Julie and Supercuts too highly. While she colours my hair I get to watch her cut other people’s hair too, and I love seeing the impact a really good cut has on how people look. I feel a good haircut is the most important beauty treatment. Supercuts only employ excellent stylists. I walked in without an appointment many years ago looking for a new hairdresser and was delighted. Every stylist who has cut my hair has showed great skill, flair and imagination. I unreservedly recommend Julie at Supercuts.

I went to Supercuts Cardiff for a wash, cut, and blow-dry and was very impressed with the services received. Gary talked me through various different options as I fancied something a bit different. I am very pleased with the results, a fresh and easy to manage new look! Highly recommended. I always use Supercuts as there is no appointment necessary and they are one of very few accessible hair salons which allow me the option to have my hair washed from my wheelchair.

I booked a hair cut with Maryam, for a post lockdown styling. She was so friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgeable stylist. As this was a new style for me I was so pleased with her knowledge and guidance in hairstyles and guiding me through what I did and didn't want. Her attention to detail when cutting my bob straight was astounding, and I felt in safe professional hands as she is also hairdressing teacher. I can't wait to book her in the future. I've been to Supercuts in a couple of other places and been really happy with them. I like that you don't need an appointment and it's generally pretty cheap. However, I definitely won't be going back to the Cardiff branch. As sweet and nice as my hairdresser was, she didn't do a good job on my hair. She cut in layers, after I'd specifically asked her not to, as I struggle to control it with layers in, which is the problem I'm now having. She also really struggled to style it straight with the hairdryer, so I felt like I had to pay the £5 extra for the use of hair straighteners, just so it didn't look awful. After all that, I was at least expecting it to be cheap, but it wasn't! Probably my own fault for not checking the price in advance, but still, I paid less at a Supercuts in London for the exact same thing (which was done to a higher standard). My hair's not awful - thankfully - but it's also not what I asked and paid for.

Supercuts - no appointment needed just go along . If its busy you may have a wait, but usually it's only about 20 minutes . Clean and spacious and close to all the shops in St David's shopping centre. Reasonable prices .
