I've searched for a long time to find a hairdresser that reminds me of home. As a male, it would normally be a barber, but I wear long natural hair. Walking in, it reminds you of a traditional beauty supply shop. Let me tell you, she stocks a lot of great products! Many of them I haven't seen since leaving the US. Immediately she greeted me with love and respect. I knew that I could trust her with my delicate hair situation. Went down to the salon portion of the building, and I wasn't disappointed. Again premium products on display, and quality arrangements. Fast forward to the service...... She's amazing! I needed a truly deep clean scalp treatment! She massaged my scalp, my brain, and my soul! I literally almost went to sleep. She's straightforward and will tell you like it is. I absolutely loved being able to have traditional hairdresser experience. I no longer need to look for a hairdresser. Her prices should be higher for the services she provides. She's that good! So if you need a real hairdresser in Colchester, look no further! But I will say... If you block me from an appointment... Well you get it! Blessings and love!

I have always had problems getting a wig to suit my small hair. Michelle spent several hours helping me find 3 coloured wigs that suited me and cut my hair to perfection. The price was higher than other places but the service was outstanding and worth every penny. Thank you see you next time need any hair advice or just free to chat

Brilliant!! Lore has magical hands I traveled all the way from Ireland to get my braids done by her! I was amazed by her professionalism and the beauty of her salon.She is educated in all Afro-Caribbean styles and catered to all my needs .I 100% recommend her as I already have my appointment booked again

I had an amazing time with Lore at AB Beauty for my first ever hair braiding. I'm very limited in my knowledge of taking care of my textured hair, but Lore was incredibly accomodating, and she was giving me tips for my hair care at home. I'm growing out my undercut, so I wanted a style that would help it grow, without it looking silly, and Lore provided that. I look and feel amazing, and I'm so grateful to her skills! Will definitely be coming back, especially for the coffee and biscuits!
