j. g.My son will not go anywhere else these guys really know their stuff. He is happy to wait how ever long for his Barber, for the exceptional service, brilliant cut/fade etc & beard trim is second to none. The fact that hair is washed too means no awful bits of hair left on you or working into your clothes & not having too go straight home to get in shower to get loose hair off... Fantastic service guys you deserve 5* all the way.

G. V.Best barbers in the area. Very friendly and always so welcoming. Happy to pay higher prices (although still very reasonable) to get such a great service without fail. The guys know their stuff and always give good advice as well as understanding on what is wanted. Can be a long wait but that is only to show that others also have such a high opinion of this barbers. My husband wont go elsewhere now, and would even happily travel if the barbers themselves moved to another location.
s. r.Most efficient barbers I've been to and I am one picky customer, Beni always does a perfect job that's why I keep coming back and will do for the foreseeable future. Highly recommend this place plus they are great with kids and serve you hot or cold drinks while you wait for free, hair cut or not. Lovely guys and gals.
G. H.This place is busy, but with 4 barbers all working the wait is never too long. When you do have to wait, a very attentive member of staff is quick to offer you a drink. Barbers are very good with children. Great selection of cuts & shaves available.
P. S.By far the best barbers in town. Always very welcoming and they always do a top notch job no matter how busy they are. As for the comment on being ‘overpriced’ in life you pay for what you get I personally wouldn’t go anywhere else.
B. R.Best barber in Colchester bar non. Yes, they are generally always busy so a wait of 20mins or more should be expected. But I promise you the wait is worth it! Excellent value for a superb quality cut that includes a wash after the cut, eyebrows, ears (including a flame singe of ear hair) and a lovely aftershave that is massaged into scalp. A real male pampering that you look forward to every time. These guys set the standard for others to follow!
J. D.Easily THE BEST barber in Colchester. All of the guys in the shop know their trade very well and are excellent barbers. They're also very friendly and professional. They listen to what you have to say and offer suggestions if needed. The place is always full and you have to wait about an hour to get a haircut, but that actually speaks volumens how good those guys are. The only problem is they aren't open on Sundays, which means tha I can't visit them as often as I would like to :(
G. C.Dont think Icon should be too worried by the racist review comments from James previously. There are far too many barbers in Colchester now. This is the only one that is always busy which speaks for itself. Their haircuts are superior to anyone else around and the guys that work there are always very friendly and open to some good banter.
M. N.First time visiting icon, as I looking for a place in Colchester to get my hair cut as I am a student at the University, I have tried out a range of barbers in colch and none of them deserving of a revisit but icon barbers will as their hair cut and customer service was perfect!
