If you want an excellent haircut that goes beyond anything most barbers in Colchester are capable of then you gotta come see Zach and Alexis at The Station. They display a masterclass of mens grooming with a key eye for detail and a sound understanding of their trade - using skills and techniques you wont find anywhere else. Zach gave me a superb taper fade and showed great care in his work by listening to tailoring his approach to my needs. He also wasn't afraid to tell me where my requests where not suitable to what I wanted to achieve which shows how much he cares about his clients and wants them to leave his chair feeling like the best version of themselves. Overall, great value for money, the guys were very conversational and genuinely very friendly and skilled at what they do. 100% will come back and will most definitely recommend to a friend! Update: Been going here consistently for my trims and I can say with sure confidence that Zach and Alexis are the most hospitable, understanding and skilled barbers I have experienced. I don't trust anyone but them to cut my hair now. Thank you lads. Bonus: you get offered drinks while you wait ;)

They do what they do extremely well, I needed a quick hair and beard trim and I got what I wanted and then some for a very reasonable price, atmosphere is extremely welcoming and even though it was my first time, I already feel like this is my barber shop.

Very good location, situated just off the main street in Colchester, High Street. Good service that provides refreshments and excellent quality for the haircut and beard trim. Alexis is very welcoming and has top focus on the customer experience. Also, Alexis developed top quality skills from constantly undertaking haircut courses as well as facial treatment. Very easy and customer friendly app for booking appointments.

Christmas shopping with the wife so needed an excuse and a haircut, found The Station. I was welcomed by two very nice lads who where happy to help. Had a good natter and a coffee while getting my haircut, which is a blessing in the world of lockdowns. Moreover the lad that cut my hair absolutely nailed it, I came away very happy and felt they deserved a good review and they will certainly get my custom again. You’d be amazed how hard it actually is to find a barber that is happy to listen to what you want and then do just that. Merry Christmas guys, keep up the great work.

The station is amazing man, and Cristopher is such nice guy, great host he offered me a drink while I had wait for 5 minutes and got my haircut done exactly as I wanted it. The place has an overall awsome vibe. You do get what you pay for and your money are worth it. Its close to reach and booking times are quite flexible.
