I just want to say how impressed I am with the service at Alice and the hair. I’ve always been the type of girl to book with whichever salon can squeeze me in the earliest but I’ll certainly be sticking with you! Kenzi is not only lovely but works absolute wonders with my hair. The salon as a whole is gorgeous and the team throws off a major welcoming vibe! I initially visited the salon for a cut & blowdry but after speaking to Kenzi for a little while and seeing how passionate she is about hair, I decided to book in for a balayage on my dark virgin locks. She’s provided me with lots of info and guidance and instead of being apprehensive I put my full trust into Kenzis abilities and she’s honestly blown me away. I’m obsessed! I would highly recommend Alice and the hair for all your hair needs🤍

After not going to a hairdressers for a year due to bad experience I took the plunge and came here after recommendations from numerous people. I booked in with Lydia who was incredible and so friendly, I couldn’t have asked for better. She talked me through every step of the process and asked me about my hair type, normal hair routine etc. I’ve also now booked in to have my hair coloured next time which I’m very excited for after box dying my hair for so long! I can’t thank you all enough for making me feel so comfortable ☺️

Had my second hair cut at Alice and the Hair a few weeks ago and I can't wait to go back. Louise was my stylist and did a fantastic job at working with my hair, giving me a lovely shaggy cut with tons of layers. Staff are really Lovely and friendly. Staff are super knowledgeable with hair and give great advice at maintaining it. I haven't had a bad hair day since and it's been such a nice feeling of being able to wake up, mess with your hair for a few seconds and be able to go out the door. Looking forward to potentially getting some hair colouring done as well. Highly recommend Louise!

Love this hairdressers. I have been seen by Chyna and she is amazing. I have booked in my next few appointments in advance. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff working there. Definitely recommend them to anyone.

I have been going to Alice and the hair for years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have had almost every stylist work on my hair and they are all amazing! The salon is easy on the eye, spotless, and very welcoming. I have an appointment every 3 weeks and always leave feeling like a film star! Alice and the hair have become like family to me, and I don’t know what I would do without my regular heavenly visits. These visits are what keeps this busy working momma going 😁

Outstanding!! my partner has attempted to have his hair cut twice in Derby, both times his hair has been nothing short of butchered. I called Alice and the hair in hopes that they could fix it.... i wasn't disappointed. We were squeezed in and put immediately at ease. Refreshments were offered and a really nice atmosphere was promoted to relax in. Lydia was the styleist... professional, happy and super talented. She took the time to find out exactly what we wanted, calmed his fears about making it worse and did a fabulous job. Thank you so much for making a bad hair day, worth it ♡

I've been going to various stylists at Alice and the Hair since Dec 2018 and I'm so glad I made that last minute decision when I was walking down Sadlergate! Without a doubt some of the friendliest and imaginative people you will meet, and who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and chat to you while you're there. I have been all sorts of lengths and have been branching out of my comfort zone with colours while I've been a customer at Alice and the Hair and I trust each of them to work their magic and make a Pinterest picture or idea I've thought about for a while a reality. I genuinely have a lovely time whenever I'm in the Hare home so thank you to the team!

I absolutely love having my hair done by Alice. She is such a lovely person and definitely the best hairdresser in the business. Alice and her team are so good at what they do. She colours and cuts my hair just how I like it and I always feel pampered and relaxed throughout. I have even started bringing my young daughter for her hair cuts now too. My daughter loves Alice and always looks forward to seeing her. Would definitely recommend!

This place is beautiful, it has got really nice decor, its aesthetically pleasing and the staff are excellent, they're very friendly and they make sure that you get what you want, I only got a little trim but the woman who did my hair asked if it was ok and if i was ok with what she was doing every step of the way, they ask if you would like refreshments even if your just sitting there they still check up on you. The staff are lovely. I definitely recommend, best hair cut I've had at a hair dressers.

Had my hair cut by senior stylist Arif on Saturday before a wedding (no pressure) and absolutely loved it. Everyone in the salon is really friendly, the best salon environment I’ve seen in a long time. The little touches are really nice from asking if each product can be used on my hair, to the logo on the cups. Arif made me feel very welcome and comfortable, giving me advice and what he recommended for my hair. The cut was lovely and was perfectly styled for a bridesmaid. I cannot fault the salon and I have rebooked to have my hair cut again by Arif. Would definitely recommend, so nice to not have to worry about my hair on the day. Although, I would love an online booking system please. Thank you!

I decided to try this hair salon for the first time the other week and I was not disappointed! The staff were absolutely lovely, lovely service and I was delighted with my hair! My hair looks so much healthier. I also really recommend their products. I purchased a gift set which had the shampoo, conditioner and milk spray that they use in the salon and it works miracles. I visited Alice and the girls wanting a totally fresh look. I'd had a full fringe for too long and needed a big change! Thankfully, with Alice's expert knowledge, she managed to give my hair the new lease of life it needed! The most incredibly welcoming hairdressers I think a girl could have. Not only are the girls here fun bubbly and genuinely caring they also know exactly how to make you look and feel beautiful ! With expert advice on how to maintain your hair as well as honest colour choices if you want a real change. There is nothing I could fault these girls on and having left my first appointment with tears of joy they still haven't stopped delivering months and months down the line.
