Michelle has provided a few well needed pick me up appointments over the last few weeks and I can't praise her enough. She is always so friendly and makes the effort to remember all of her clients which is lovely. She's very talented and has provided a lovely manicure today for me. I'd definitely recommend!

I had relatively dead hair from dying it often and currently had overgrown red dye still left in my hair but am going to a wedding at the weekend so wanted my hair cut and coloured before the wedding. I came in last week to talk about my options and Lauren did a skin test, talked about my hair and dye options and the cut I wanted and got me booked for today. She was amazing, attentive, asked me regularly if everything was alright with my hair and I love my new hair and am coming back after the summer!

Very pleased with my colour today done by Kim. I have been coming to the salon for a few years now, but never had my hair done by Kim before. The colour is outstanding and exceeded my expectations. She has also given me very good advice about hair products to use and recommended the styling tool and showed me how to use it to get the look I was after. The service at the salon is always great, the girls are very friendly and attentive, always offered me a coffee during my appointments.

She spoke me through products which will help my hair without coming across as trying to sell to me, but rather actually help me. I have thick, frizzy hair that is both difficult to cut and style. Karolina isn't fazed by this and I always come out with a style I can manage. She is one of the few people who can dry my hair in such a way that I don't feel the need to rush home and adapt what she's done!

I've been coming to Cocco since 2015. Chelsea and the team are always super welcoming. I even moved in 2016 and I still came back to see them! They always listen to my concerns about my hair, and have helped me to push out of my comfort zone with beautifully coloured hair. Updated Jan 2021: Kim has been doing my hair over the past year and I am still extremely happy with the service I am receiving. They really care about their customers and answer all questions honestly and fully. It is clear they love working at Cocco and their service is always excellent.

First time getting my hair done at cocco salon today and I will 100% be going back. I moved from my previous hairdressers after going there for 4 years and I’m so glad I did. All the girls are super helpful and were fantastic, even though I was awkward and didn’t have a clue what I wanted. Leanne was very patient, gave great advice and you could tell she knew what she was talking about, she also likes true crime documentaries (which is always a plus). 10/10 would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back to Leanne in a few weeks.

I’ve never been happier with my cut or colour. I had half a head of highlights and an ombré glaze and Romana did an absolutely amazing job with both and was completely honest about what would be the end result. Had my first Cocco experience at the weekend and couldn't be happier with my new hair. Ramona worked some serious magic in rescuing my neglected tresses. The experience actually started from the initial consultation a few weeks before my actual appointment where I was given advice on how to prep my hair for the best results and a follow up strand test as I was in the sun a fair bit ahead of the appointment. I could ramble on with the praises but if you're considering Cocco's, you won't be disappointed in the slightest. If the girls can't give you a replica of a look you've seen on instagram, there will be a reason for it, you'll be given the full explanation and you'll still leave the salon looking and feeling amazing. Huge thanks to Ramona and Annie!

I have had my hair cut by Hayley since I was 12 years old when she used to work in a different salon. I have been coming here since it has opened and have had Hayley, Ramona and Chelsea all cut and colour my hair. Each stylist is fantastic, and definitely know what they are doing. If a stylist won't do something to your hair it probably shouldn't be done, they are all highly trained and know what's best and have always done what's best for my hair. Products are offered but not forced anything I have ever bought has been brilliant for my hair which I'm rubbish at looking after especially after years of box dye. Having tried other places over the years you certainly get what you pay for and I don't mind paying a bit more for someone to get my hair spot on!

Hayley has worked hard to create a chic and stylish salon with both a bubbly, yet calming atmosphere. I'm ALWAYS greeted by a smiling face regardless of which team member it is and ALWAYS made to feel 'special' during my visits. After having Hayley style and colour my hair for over six years now, I'm definitely a Cocco girl......and why wouldn't I be? Great service, free parking, plentiful beverages, fantastic products and above all - I go home 'swooshing' my hair one very happy lady!! Oh, and I've just discovered Shellac and thanks to Becky, I've ditched the acrylics and have my very own gorgeous nails......and another reason to visit the salon!

What a brilliant salon! There are so many things I love about Cocco, I'd suggest visiting it to anybody looking for great hair in the Derby area. Hayley has been styling (and colouring) my hair for a while now and it's never looked so good. The team at Cocco are very welcoming and friendly, it's always a bright and happy atmosphere. Being able to park outside is ideal and there are also lot's of other beauty treatments on offer too. I love hearing about the latest things happening in hair colouring and I've always received the best advice about products (what/how to use them for best effect). They've always been really flexible with appointments, they open late on a number of week nights, which has really helped me in the past. I couldn't speak more highly of Cocco, definitely give them a call.

Great salon, lovely staff and customer service.Experts in colour which they explained to me in great scientific detail of some of the more complicated looks that I was showing them in a magazine. Haircutting techniques are highly skilled as i have difficult hair to cut with it being fine with tow cow licks on my fringe.It is rare that i dont have to fight with my hair but it sits comfortably after finding this salon.They are very experienced in all types of hair as i was recommended to them by a friend with tight curly hair that now has straight thanks to them .Curly hair is beautiful too and i pay the little bit extra and have a curly blow dry which is so glamorous.Love this salon, it is pretty and you can have as many free drinks as you like.Great magazines and you even get a biscuit too x

When I first came to Cocco I had a cotton wool, over processed mess on my head- to the point where I couldn't leave the house without my extensions in. Hayley took time to really listen to my traumatic story of how frightened of hairdressers I'd become and reassured me that I was in safe hands. She asserted that I could achieve my dream of having my hair both blonde (I'm naturally very dark) and long (every other stylist had led me to believe it was a choice between dark and healthy or blonde and frazzled due to how fine my hair is). I gave Hayley my last shred of trust and invested in some products that she stated would improve the condition of my hair. Extremely doubtful, I followed her instructions and was astounded at the improvement in the condition of my hair. It wasn't long before I felt confident enough to ditch the extensions and I haven't looked back. I now have very LONG BLONDE hair and actually cried at my last visit when I saw the result as I'd never imagined I could love my hair so much. This may seem ridiculous but for someone with low self esteem it has made a huge impact on my confidence. With the addition of the most amazing hot chocolates, the nicest bunch of girls and a beautiful salon- I really couldn't recommend them enough.
