Yesterday was my first experience at Reef Salon at Ramside Hall. From the moment I walked through the door I was made very welcome and was handed over to my hair stylist Matt to work his magic on my tired, dry and dull 'lockdown hair'. Matt was amazing, he has such attention to detail and is an extremely talented hair stylist. He took time to explain what he was doing with each step of the process. I am absolutely thrilled with the end result and have had lots of lovely compliments about my hair. To anyone nervous about having a change or needing help to get a desired look Matt is the man for the job. All the staff seemed lovely and friendly and would highly recommend the Reef Salon.

I had my extensions fitted today with Jodie and I couldn’t be happier! My hair looks amazing and I feel so much more confident. Beautiful Salon and lovely staff, always come out feeling great!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

What can I say.... what an amazing salon. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I have visited a number of times now and will not change. My Reef experience was nothing short of AMAZING! The salon is beautiful, it has a great vibe with friendly, welcoming staff who take care of you from the minute of enquiry. In particular I must thank the super talented Jodie. I came in needing some serious hair TLC following lockdown and the lovely Jodie worked actual magic to give me my dream hair. So pleased to find a hairdresser that understands what you want/need and delivers it with such attention to detail. Extension girls look no further, Jodie has you covered!

Had my hair done by Jodie yesterday, Jodie is amazing at what she does. Went to Jodie with a warm band through my hair and was quite a dark tone of blonde, wanting a cooler brighter blonde and Jodie achieved just that in one sitting! I enjoyed my whole experience of having my hair done, such a lovely salon, very welcoming, professional and attentive. Would highly recommend!

Love this place, go here everytime for many years - always professional & excellent 10/10 service. Staff are super friendly & tend to your needs with courtesy & efficiency. I reached out to Reef after a hair catastrophe which left me so self-conscious about the colour of my hair. Within 1 appointment they were able to transform my hair from the bright orange and red colour I was left with to the exact colour I wanted. I honestly could not be happier with the condition and colour of my hair now thanks to Alex. Such friendly girls as well. Cannot recommend this salon enough!!

I have been coming to reef for around three years now and I love it there. The staff are all friendly and willing to help. I usually get my hair cut and coloured by Matt or Laura M but genuinely I’d be willing to go to any of the stylists as they are all lovely. Joanne the manager is so friendly and all the staff are willing to give advice or get whatever you need. I always leave feeling like I’ve been rejuvenated whether it’s a blow dry or my full colour, I always feel like I’ve been pampered. Can’t wait to come and get my colour done when this is all over. I can’t recommend Reef enough, if you haven’t been already, then why not??

I can't thank the staff enough for the incredible service today. Everyone was just so wonderful...but I have to thank Matt in particular. He was so kind, patient and professional. He listened to the post Covid hair loss issues I was having and was able to talk me through what style would be best to make it look fuller and hide the thinning areas. It wasn't just about this one cut...he knew how it would progress and what options I might have at future appointments. He made me feel human again. The last 5 months have been a huge struggle but I managed to hold it together in the salon...just. However, when I got to my car, I had a little happy cry. So please thank Matt for me, not only for the physical difference he made, but the emotional difference.

I am absolutely thrilled with my blonde highlights by Jodie. My roots were horrendous after maternity leave and then lockdown but she brightened it all up and it had some lovely shades in it. I always love my experience at reef. I had my colour and cut done by Matt on 1 August and he gave me great advice on how to darken my hair back to its natural colour and what colour would compliment it to break up the solid colour. I definitely feel in safe hands with Matt and all of the staff. I can’t recommend reef enough.

Each member of staff is always friendly and professional. The salon uses excellent quality products and every visit is a treat from the wide range of beverages on offer to the massage chairs to help you relax.

My hair was in such bad condition untill i went to reef salon due to other places i visited for hair extensions. I have had hair extensions in twice from reef and have never been happier with them. The hair is to an AMAZING standard and so healthy for my hair that my own hair quality has improved in length and thickness. The staff are amazing and welcoming and would highly reccomend for anyone considering hair extentions or anyform of styleing.
