If you are looking for a place to give yourself and your hair a treat, this one is your place. The service was amazing. I cannot give enough credit to Alfred. This was my first time cutting my hair after four years and perming the hair, so I was nervous. Alfred was so helpful and so attentive to customers' requests. He knows what the best style for my face shape is. The result exceeded my expectation cause I had never thought I could have such a hairstyle that suits my face. I might be moving out of town soon, but I would not mind visiting Edinburgh again just to get a hairstyle/haircut at this hairdresser. Totally recommended.

I have been searching for a good hairdresser in Edinburgh for a number of years now. I have tried a number of high end shops on the high street but so far have not found one that I would like to stick to until today! As many reviewers wrote before, Alfred does know what hair style suits you even you yourself cannot specify it! The particular ways he chooses to trim and colour my hair is full of delicate craftsmanship based on his many years' experience in the industry and his solid training in both the East and West. Finally I found THE hairdresser in Edinburgh!

I'm usually underwhelmed by hairdressers despite going to branded places but I am so happy I came here. A lot of care and time was taken into getting my hair cut and was done to what suited me which is what I wanted. It is very rare to find someone who can do that. Excellent haircut and hair salon. Alfred is a highly skilled artist when it comes to hair, and you'll walk away with a haircut that not only suits you, but is line with the latest trends. He's got a talent at intuitively knowing what looks good on you, plus his warm and friendly personality will ensure that you feel comfortable at all times. I got a cut and colour, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the colour was exactly the one I had chosen - my hair is dark so usually the colour also turns out darker than expected, but this time it was accurate! Clearly Alfred has quite a bit of knowledge and experience in this area too. Also worth mentioning the hair dye is high quality from Korea/Japan. Very good hairdresser, highly recommended!

A few days ago I had my hair cut in this salon and I am fascinated with the results. During the quarantine I was reckless trying to cut my hair myself and it was awful (I attach a before and after photo), I must clarify that I am not Asian and I did not need to tell Alfred how I wanted it, it was only based on the shape of my face and kind of hair, and it looks beautiful, I love it!
