R. M.Good First impression Friendly staff. Problem comes from the cut. Not much care given for a fade heavy on top. Done the fade cut top slightly. But was no finess to the Finnish. So highly overpriced for service I got.

J. K.Just came back from my first visit to Veen Barbers since the shops have reopened. I have been going to this barbers for years now and there's a reason for that. The staff were very friendly and always welcoming to everybody who comes in. I was offered a free coffee and had a great conversation with Ganjy while he gave me a fresh haircut. Afterward he offered to give me a free facial massage which was very relaxing. I'm very happy with the result, and would highly recommend getting your next haircut here!

A. H.I have been a regulalr visitor to Veen Barbers for haircuts and beard trims for over 10 years now and have always found them to be excellent.
The barbers are well trained by the owners and are experts in their own rights. You are always met with a smile from the moment you enter the shop and are offered tea and coffee.
I am so pleased for the oweners that the business has continued to grow and expand because I know that Khalid and his team are honest hard working men and they deserve all the success. Keep it up guys.
D. A.I have been going to this barber for several years previously known as Venus. From the moment you enter the shop to the moment you leave you feel very welcome. You are offered a drink and waiting can be lengthy as they are busy but depending on the day you can watch the football on the TVs (usually go on a Saturday). The service is great and I have never been disappointed with the haircuts and shaves I have had.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

R. v. d. B.It’s not cheap, which is fine, it’s the price you would expect to pay a good barber. The problem is it was the worst hair cut I have ever received. Just an all round shoddy job, uneven, rubbish blending from back and sides to top, he had just come in from buying takeout breakfast so I think he was just keen to be done so he could eat, he completely rushed it and it shows, I’ll have to go get it cleared up somewhere else. I am quite disappointed.
Edit, went in and spoke to the manager, he was very apologetic and sorted the cut out, he did a fantastic job. Only 4 stars because it’s a shame it needed sorting in the first place.

1.Best barber in Edinburgh in my opinion. Great service, with drinks offered on arrival and their haircuts and hot shaves are on point. My son has Down's Syndrome and this is the first barber shop that he has felt truly comfortable in, so salute to the staff for making us feel welcome.

The first time I visited Venus Barbers was on a whim. I was passing the shop, and figured it was time to have my hair cut. So, I walked in, and was pleased to see no appointment was necessary. After checking the inexpensive prices and what was offered, I asked for a full wash, cut, and shave. That proved to be a wise choice. 45 minutes later, I felt like a new man. Hot towels, straight-edge razor shave, massaged head, oils and sprays of various kinds, and a meticulous cut. So, not just a good haircut, but also a deeply relaxing experience.
Unsurprisingly, I have visited again. And again.
A. B.Would highly reccommend this place. Kakan gets a shout out in particular for putting my four year old at ease and giving him a great haircut today. All the staff were friendly and by sitting watching them it's clear to see they are all very skilled at what they do.

S. R.Best barber in Edinburgh. By far. Whenever I'm in town, I need that slick fade, and veens got me covered. I'd rate this highly, and that's saying a lot since I get my weekly fade in Toronto crisp and tight.
The service is wonderful and the hot towel shaves are one hundred.
Check this place out if your a local and definitely if you need a crisp fade while in Scotland.

I went in and they're were a few people waiting. When it was my turn the guy was extremely professional and attentive. There was another guy waiting but my dude took his time and gave me a great haircut.

f. k.What a discovery - my usual barbers was closed when I got there for my weekly beard trim. I googled barbers nearby, saw this one and cycled up. Same price as my usual barber but a different level - great beard trim and he even did my eyebrows. Spotted lots of blokes with black 'stuff' on their faces - cleansing! It's on my list for next visit. Oh, and they give you espresso/capuccino for free whilst you wait. Final compliment - it looks like a good old fashioned barbers - cracking atmosphere.

O.Went there for a visit from London. I went there before a few months ago and from then to now it has changed. The staff are great for example when you walk in they take of your cost and hang it up on the wall adding on to that they give you free coffee and wash you hair for free as well also the staff are all friendly you should check them out.
