I've only had my hair cut by my aunties so I was nervous about finding someplace else where I would feel comfortable. I'm very glad to have found Chesne and Joseph who helped reassure me when I cut 17inches off for the Princess Hair Trust and then when I returned for a trim a few months later. They'll listen to what you want and will try to accommodate you with their professional opinion! Thank you for creating a space with such a chill atmosphere! 😊

Came here a few years ago for an Olaplex treatment. Staff were all so friendly and the salon has a fab atmosphere. Since that first appointment I haven’t gone to another salon. I have tried loads of different colours and styles and been so happy with all of them. Great salon and really reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

It's hands down by far the best colour and cut I've had done in years. The staff are very welcoming, the chat is great and they are 100% pulling out all the stop on COVID safety. Chesne Hair has been my go to place for the past 5 years. I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. Joe is my stylist and not only does he give me the best haircuts I've ever had, he's got such good chat it makes going to get my hair done into a proper fun experience. They use an app to book you appointments which is really easy to use, and you get a confirmation email within 24 hours. It's always a nice friendly atmosphere in Chesne and they have done an amazing job to make the salon covid safe, cleaning routines and procedures name you feel safe and in good hands. I always tell people I go to Chesne as I really cannot fault them in price, quality, cleanliness, and friendliness. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience here. The guy who did my full head foils was a genius - you can't see the roots at all and it's been a while since someone's really nailed the colour like this. The guy taking care of the washing and drying was very thoughtful with the water and hair dryer temperatures and the stylist Joseph straightening and cutting my hair did the perfect job and we had a good laugh. All absolute professionals and I'm in love with the place. (With this amazing of an experience you'd think they were unfairly expensive like most hairdressers in Glasgow city centre but they're really well priced too and I felt genuinely cared for.)

Have been coming to Chesne Hair as a regular for a number of years now. I can't give the place enough credit. The welcome I got when I first visited, as if I had been coming for ages, to the professionalism I still encounter each and every visit. The salon itself is stylish, fresh and well laid out. The prices of the hair treatments/cuts more than competitive. James the manager always acknowledges me when I arrive and regularly thanks me for my custom. I always get my hair cut by Joseph but although he is my stylist of choice I can see that all the hair stylists are very talented and popular. Joseph as a stylist has given me so many superb cuts/styles, I've never left disappointed or unsure, he has also given me perfect advice when I have asked regarding style changes/tweaks. Joseph is utter professional in his work but over the years he has become a friend as well, I actually look forward to our chats/catch ups. In my opinion Joseph is a clear asset to Chesne Hair. Overall as you can see I would have no hesitation in recommending this place, I see no reason to ever consider anywhere else.

I have tried going to many saloons but Chense was the one, all the staff are very kind and friendly, they make sure you feel happy and comfortable. My best friend highly recommended Chesne for me and said that their service is excellent. So i decided to try it out by myself. I was so worried about getting the balayage colouring as I have naturally dark hair. I wanted something blonde, grey, ashy to blend in with my dark hair. However, when I came to Chesne for consultation, they gave me all the details and told me everything I wanted to hear. They said I might need a session or two with them. I am glad they talked me into it. They also told me that I might get the colour that I want from the first session as they will try their best to lift that colour. I was so comfortable with them and booked for the closest appointment. Ross, the hairstylist who did my hair today and god knows how I am amazed by every detail. He was very kind, friendly and gentle. He is very skilled and professional. He made sure I was comfortable with the whole process, from brushing my hair to dying it, washing it and blowdrying it. I am not over-expressing but I was impressed with the result. I love my hair colour and little did I know this blonde would suit my warm skin. Plus, Ross blow-dried my hair in a very beautiful way that made my hair look very silky and sexy. I love him! Thanks Ross for making my day and giving me the most greatest result. I would most definitely go back to Chesne again if I ever want my hair done. Thank you guys!

I think everyone is nervous walking into a hairdresser they've never been to before but the atmosphere is very relaxed in Chesne. The staff was all male on the day I visited which I loved,i quite refreshing in a mostly female dominated industry. Alin was my stylist and he was super chilled. Nice experience. Without appointment get the ladies haircut within 45 minutes and that's as well which was very good. Staff was very friendly and they even suggested the cutting. Services includes wash + cutting + dry and It cost as only £38 to get the everything done. Would suggest to try at least once. Better book a appointment first as get quite busy on Saturday.

Took my 5 year old on for an impromptu appointment. Sorry I don’t have names but the woman behind the desk was the nicest soul. Super kid friendly and I hate to say nice again so I’ll say she was really lovely. Anyway, she gave my baby juice and a cake while we waited for the stylist to come back from her break. When she did she shouted my son over and as he was still eating she had to wait a minute and didn’t seem happy about it. In general I got the feeling she didn’t want to cut his hair. That being said, it was a good cut and I was pleased. Thankyou for being so nice to me and my son brunette lady, he said he liked you a lot. The man who came in was also helpful about the crumb mess my baby made, Thankyou for that.
