Had a great experience at Ellen Conlin Hair, everyone was super welcoming and accommodating of me wanting to chop 8” off to donate, they managed 10” even printed my little form for me! Georgia did my hair and I absolutely love it, she spent so much time making it perfect and even gave me a tutorial on how to use curling tongs which I was in dire need of. I’ll be back and definitely recommend for people who want a great cut in a lovely environment. Thanks guys!

I can highly recommend Ellen Conlin Hair and Beauty. I visited for the first time and was made to feel extremely welcome. Georgia took time to understand what I wanted and gave me a great haircut. Ellen gave me a Keratin treatment which I am really happy with. All staff were extremely friendly. This was my first visit but I will definitely be back.

Straight up the best haircut I've ever had. One of those ones you walk out the shop and feel like you catch people looking at you for a second like it's a damn Maybelline advert. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, highly skilled, and are happy to offer advice on products and styling, as well as good chat. The studio has the buzz of a well oiled machine without feeling chaotic. Little niceties like refreshments, your name on the mirror on the walk in, and head massages offered after shampooing make you feel truly taken care of and comfortable whilst they work their magic. Absolutely will be back.

Had a men's luxury cut (which is what you get if it's not a razor job) with Abbie/Abby. She understood exactly what I wanted from one photo and a wee chat. Strong conversation, excellent hair-cutting, very friendly atmosphere. Will go back if I'm round these parts next time I'm in need of a trim.

Wow! Very impressed by the friendly, professional service from Amy today. I got a haircut (w included wash and dry) for £70. ECH is absolutely worth the price. The quality, attentiveness, and thoroughness, in all aspects of the visit show the staff are both skilled and caring. My hair feels revitalized, smooth, and I’m happy to have learned tips on how to better care for my hair at home. Wonderful experience, comparable to renown salons I’ve been to in other countries. Will definitely be going back the next time I need my hair cut. Shout to ken at the front desk for being so wonderful and friendly as well.

Excellent experience with Georgia and the rest of the staff, gave my hair the make over it needed to make it feel fresh. Very nice and professional, juggling multiple clients at once at times but great with it. Really helped me decide what to do and gave me advice for how to look after my new colour. Generally nice environment, was in there for hours with everything done but it was a pleasure! Will definitely be back.

What a great experience, I loved my visit here. From the cheery hello and offer of coffee at reception as I walked in, to Georgia's care and attention to my cut and blow dry, I was so impressed. I will definitely be back, it's well worth the trip across from Edinburgh!

I cannot recommend this salon enough. They really take the time to listen and understand what you want which is refreshing. All the staff are so attentive, friendly and easy to chat too. I've had a few different stylists just due to the times I've booked and each one had already looked at my file, spoke to my previous stylists and already knew exactly how I like my cut and even my blow dry. The owners are always in making sure everything is running smoothly and again they are so warm and friendly. Not a single negative point to mention.

Georgia was 1st class and all the girls that helped. However i was stunned at the cost. £228 for colour and a trim of my hair which was marked at £68 if done alone. I have used other senior colour specialists in town and almost half the price. I am however very happy with the results and the service.. but dont think i can justify the cost every 7 weeks kind regards

Got my hair done earlier today by Hannah and was done perfectly. Hannah dyed my hair and shaved the sides and back & would definitely go back for her service again. I would overall 100% strongly recommend coming here for anything hair or beauty related as their services are excellent with professional and friendly staff. I am in my mid fifties and during the first lockdown my grey hair was quite prominent and I needed to consider what I was going to do to allow my natural grey to grow through so I decided to change hairdressers and researched various places online, I found Ellen Conlin and liked what I seen including reviews, I messaged them and got a reply straight away from Ken organising an appointment for as soon as I could make one, I was appointed Georgia (I love Georgia) and my first visit met with a lovely welcome, on the mirror a ‘Welcome Lorraine’ was wrote, I have never looked back, in all my years of various hairdressers I have never found one who was able to give me the colour and style I was happy with, most importantly I wish I had found them many many years ago, I look forward to going now because Georgia knows exactly what I want and for the first time I can relax knowing I love what she does,
