I highly recommend this lovely friendly salon. I have very coarse frizzy hair which has been transformed by the alpha keratin treatment. I am a regular visitor for blow dry and beauty treatments. My two daughters also love going. Gold star hair & beauty.

Aimee colours and cuts my hair which I love each time, Louise also showed me the best way to curl my hair which I struggled to do and now I'm getting good at doing. I’ve been coming to Hair in the City for years for my waxing, nails, derma-planing with Stephanie and to get my hair coloured and cut with Louise. Stephanie is the ultimate professional, with good chat and always incredible results. It’s always relaxing and she always makes sure you are happy with the results before letting you go. I have moved further away from the salon but it is so very worth travelling for! Louise is an absolute boss at what she does, she knows what I mean when I loosely explain what I might want, and always guides me in the right direction. New to the Glasgow area, I seen Hair in the City advertised and thought I needed to give it a try after a few bad experiences with other hairdressers in Glasgow I was always left with brassy hair. Grace was so friendly and welcoming it instantly put me in ease. All the hairdressers is a really friendly and it is such a lovely atmosphere in the salon. I have a balayage and Grace always does an amazing job. I have now been going to this salon for over 2 years and always have the best colour and cut every time I go and I no longer have brassy hair. Couldn’t recommend the salon enough, best salon in Glasgow.

I have been a client at HITC for about 3 years now and I cannot recommend them enough! From Steph doing amazing nails to all the girls doing wonders on my hair. I have gone from natural brunette, to bleach blonde and back again to a more natural ginger and the girls have always taken really good care of my hair. I have quite frizzy hair so had the keratin treatment before summer to tame the frizz and it was amazing! I saw the benefits all summer long and I would definitely recommend! All the girls at Hair in the City offer great professional advice and service. Full description of all products and what the outcome is with each! And even honesty when i ask for certain popstar hairstyles then Louise always explains what she can do to get you there but also explains the upkeep to keep it that way! My favourite has to be the Keratin treament as i have really thick hair that takes a long time to manage however this treament means it takes me half the time to manage my hair and also gives a great shine and sleek look. I wouldbe lost without Louise jeeping my hair in tip top conditon. Every visit i am made to feel welcome and there is a great buzz in the salon. I would highly recommend!

Although it has a city centre location and is regarded as a first rate salon, the prices remain very reasonable. The staff are all genuinely lovely people and clearly get on very well with each other as well as with their clients. Louise is a marvel when it comes to hair, a true expert in her field. She is always happy to offer advice when I want a change and I am always delighted with my hair when I leave the salon. I recently had the Alpha Keratin hair treatment and the result is truly amazing. My hair is now frizz free, is much easier to manage and I no longer need to straighten it. Best of all, I recently celebrated a big birthday and had lots of compliments at my party from people asking what I had done to my hair, saying it looked really healthy and in great condition and that it looked very shiny and smooth. I'm thrilled. To me it's like a miracle treatment that was worth every penny. Thank you yet again Louise.

I have my hair cut by Eilidh and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. She always understands exactly what I want, never cuts off too much or too little, no pretending I'm happy with something I'm not! She's easy to talk to which is great for an anxious person like me and the salon in general is clean and not too big and loud, very comfortable and the prices are more than reasonable for the service.

We visited in November as a treat for my mum. We do not live locally and chose this purely based on the high standard of reviews. I am pleased to say we were not disappointed. The entire experience was marvelous. My mum had eyes, hair, make up done and felt revitalized when we left. The whole salon atmosphere was very friendly and warming. I have always had the problem where hairdressers would cut too much, or too short, but the lady that served me today (she wears shoulder length pink hair) was incredibly lovely and understood I only wanted to cut a couple of inches, she also cut it round shaped as I needed (last hairdresser I went to did it V-shaped even if I specified round). Totally recommended the service.

On the lead up to the wedding Louise invited me to the salon to try a variety of different styles as I wasn't quite sure exactly what I wanted!
