I've been looking for a good salon since I moved from the US to Glasgow ten years ago. It seems like there's a shortage of local stylists who can cut curly hair. A friend recommended the salon, so I booked a cut and style with Susan. Susan really listened to what I wanted and referred to the photos I brought. She did a great job, and made adjustments until I was happy. I'll definitely be back for my next cut. Thanks Susan!

Have been a frequent client to this super salon for 20 years now, although I stopped feeling like a client and more like a friend many years ago :) For the past 10 years I have travelled 30 miles for my visits, passing tens of salons on my doorstep, which is credit to the experience you receive when you visit. You never want to go anywhere else :) It’s so much more than a cut and colour. There isn’t a member of staff here that I couldn’t praise and my stylist Chloe has been looking after me for so long that she knows what I am going to say before I even say it and is prepared for it :) The safety protocols that Susan has mobilised within the salon down to every single last detail is exceptionally high standard - pretty much medical grade.

The staff are incredibly quick to react and always smiling! Service is great for my hair and I have never left this hairdresser unhappy. They transform my hair every time and it's worth every penny. Extremely welcoming and friendly ladies, comfortable atmosphere, but over all my hair have looked better. They surely tried, but it appeared the girl I got might had been new. The curls I walked out with had disappeared in less than 15 minute car ride home, unlike the previous time I got them done elsewhere and they still looked great the next day.

Always made to feel welcome at JR's. I've tried loads of different hairdressers due to a house move, but have come back to this salon; even though it's no longer local to me. The prices reflect the level of service you receive at the salon and are more than competitive. The hygiene measures pre covid-19 were excellent and are now outstanding. Been using this Salon for a while now and every visit is as welcoming as the first. I was there yesterday and to be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect regarding social distancing and measures to be taken due to covid. I was welcomed like always, all staff were wearing face masks, I was asked to sanitise my hands and Louise used a thermometer to scan my forehead. I was asked to place my jacket in a disposable bag which stayed with me. Then a pack in a sterile bag was left at my station with everything the hair dresser needed to do my hair. The girl who washed my hair was able to tell me that the gown she was placing on me was disposable. Social distancing was observed throughout the shop between clients, all necessary notices were in place. I observed staff disinfecting areas were clients had been , washing and sanitising their hands. I was asked to give my details for test and trace. And on leaving the shop I was asked to sanitise my hands again... I have shielded through lock down and being there and seeing what has been done made me feel safe and confident that every step was being taken to look after clients and staff. Bravo Susan ! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for you and your management of your salon.

Have been going here a number of years all the staff very good nice and professional Chloe does my hair. Just been this morning to get my hair done and felt very safe in the salon.

Expected things to be a little different due to COVID-19 prevention measures but somehow the JRS team have made the salon extremely safe without changing that JRS experience we all go there for. As always excellent service, amazing staff and awesome haircuts. 5 stars doesn’t feel like enough so I have to give an A+ and a 10/10 as well.

I've been coming to JRs Mosspark for about 6 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I love the family vibe in the salon. I don't just feel like I'm going for a haircut, I feel like I'm visiting friends. It's a great experience from start to finish. They offer coffee, tea, juice, wine, beer, and even toast! The manager Susan runs the place so well and has such an upbeat and positive attitude. My 3 year old nephew even comes here now too! Love love love.

If you are ever looking for 5 star service this is the place to go. I have been going to JR's for well over 10 years now and I wouldn't even dream of going anywhere else. It's no exaggeration to say that Susan lives and breathes hairdressing. I have very curly hair and I've had a few hair disasters over the years, so when I found Susan and saw how amazing she was with curly hair, I knew I'd never go anywhere else. Susan and the rest of the team really do care about you and you know you will always leave the salon happy. Apart from being an amazing hairdressers, what I love about JR's is the amazing atmosphere in the salon. As soon as you walk in, you feel you are among friends. If you have ever wanted to see the most amazing customer service ever, this is the place to find it. Nothing is too much trouble. When I was in getting my hair cut earlier this month, there was a small girl, aged about 6 or 7, in with her mum. They were going to see Little Mix that night and the girl wanted pink hair. Now Susan knew that she obviously couldn't dye her hair, so she phoned up somewhere that she knew did pink hairspray and then organised a taxi to bring the hairspray to the salon and voila- pink glittery hair- perfect for a princess! Now how many businesses would go to such an effort for their client? And that's hardly a one-off. My daughter was given a birthday cake- complete with candles!- for her 10th birthday, and still talks about it to this day. All of the staff are incredible and it really is a very, very special place. Well done Susan and her team- you really have created a very magical salon.

Susan and her really friendly and professional staff always make you feel welcome and deliver first rate customer service and of course a great haircut.
