Staff are very friendly. I wasnt too pleased with how my hair colour turned out, but Nicole - the owner immediately rectified this - great customer service, which goes along way! I would return knowing that Nicole provides an excellent customer service.

Cannot praise the team at Kano highly enough. I've only been twice so far but I've been over the moon with my cuts both times. I saw Danielle most recently and she did an amazing job. She was so attentive and kept checking in throughout to make sure everything was as I wanted it. It's clear that the stylists at Kano genuinely care about every client they see, whether they're doing a bespoke colour job or a simple trim. I'll definitely be coming here from now on 💖

Best hairstylist ever! Nicole at Kano is the most sweetest and caring hairdresser I have ever come across. She listens to everything you want and delivers exceptionally. She is an absolute star! I love the way she is so attentive and cares like it's her own hair. She is extremely talented, professional, full of energy, patient and listens to all her clients needs. Her colour and cut are the BEST in Glasgow. I cannot recommend her ENOUGH!. Anyone looking for a good colour, cut, trim or just a blow dry and chat Nicole is your girl. Her results are 10/10 and makes you feel like a new person. I get so many compliments on my hair. All the staff are brilliant, friendly, professional and make you feel relaxed. Great atmosphere. If you haven't been then I would highly RECOMMEND this salon you wont be sorry!

I have had Nicole as my hairdresser now for over 10 years.She even did my hair for my wedding, and made a beautiful job of it. I moved away from Glasgow ,and still make the hour trip to get my hair done, there, as I trust her and always get a good cut/colour.. She is a great hairstylist, listens to what you are looking for and never disappoints.She puts you at ease(as do all the staff) and the atmosphere is very relaxed.An easy going girl with great talent and a great personality.Always a pleasure. 👍😘

Got my haircut today by Nicole. I did not book appointment but she said will do it for me. She is professional and she is very nice, friendly. Other girls are very nice as well. I done some research online which salon is the best in Shawlands and I decided to go to Kano. I'm really pleased with the results. I will definitely go back. Thank you very much Nicole! I love my new hair! Highly recommended!

I am so glad I was told about Kano Hair Salon as I was going to a salon I wasn’t happy with. The salon has a very relaxed atmosphere with excellent stylists and junior staff who make you feel very welcome. Nicole does my hair and I’ve never been disappointed with my style and colour, the clients are well looked after. I have known Amy for years and would not trust anyone else with my hair. I travel halfway across the city to get to her because she is experienced, creative, honest and takes time over the cut colour and style. She will take a genuine interest in what you want and has never failed to meet my needs. The salon itself is a calm, clean and lacks that fussy pretentiousness that hides lack of underlying talent. I would recommend everyone to go and see Amy-her prices are also very reasonable for the work she puts in.

Kano is run by two lovely women who are also great hairstylists. I've been here a few times for cut & colour and once got my hair styled for my birthday. They're so lovely and I'm always happy with my hair when I leave, I've had both of them do my hair and they're both great. The also have a beauty area in the basement and do nails and make-up although I've never used this service, I have a friend who loves it! It's easy to get an appointment although the place has never been empty when I go. It's reasonably priced (cut & colour is £55), nicely decorated and they make good cups of tea ;)

had my first haircut since lockdown at kano's with a lovely irish guy (wish I had got his name - think it was gerald). anyway he was clearly exhausted after a flood of customers but hacked away at 9 months worth of hair and did a fantastic job. extremely pleased with it. was good to chat to as well. would highly recommend this place

Decided to try this Hairdressers after i moved to Shawlands 3 years ago and i havnt look back..Danielle has been doing it ever since and never fails to make me leave a happy girl :) I now live in the East End and i still make the 30 minute travel to get there as i wouldnt have anyone else do it now apart from her.. The girls are great and make u feel more than welcome :)
