Had a consultation for a perm with Paul and and was lucky enough that he could fit me in that day. He talked me through the process and how to achieve the look I wanted. I felt really comfortable and reassured with Paul and his experience. It's difficult to find someone who knows how to do a perm but Paul and his colleague definitely knew their stuff. All the staff were lovely and I had a great experience. This is definitely my go to hairdresser from now on. Thanks again to everyone at Paul Allen Hair.

I came to Paul looking to get my hair permanently straightened through the Yoko straightening method and I couldn’t be happier I did! My hair was frizzy with a mix of curled and waves when I walked in and I left moth shiny, smooth , pin straight hair. Couldn’t recommend Paul and his staff enough!

1st time at the Salon & will definitely be back. Staff very friendly & knowledgeable. I had the Chemical Hair Straightening treatment & i am over the moon with the result. I’ve always had very curly frizzy unmanageable hair & I left the salon with silky smooth straight hair. Have already rebooked for a full colour.

Paul was great! Had a head of very long hair that I wanted permed. I had been refused by other salons due to length of hair, and the fact that no one knew how to do a perm. Crazy! Paul really LISTENED to what I wanted, and went straight to work (no pun intended). Morgan the assistant was wonderful too, friendly and helpful. I walked out of the salon a very happy customer, and when the time comes, I will be back. The two hours drive from Eastern Scotland was worth the effort. Thank you so much! I LOVE my hair!

I have been colouring my hair (badly) through lockdown, Paul and Lacy were able to sort it out, re-dye my hair a beautiful rose gold/pink with dark roots. Paul is very creative and really knows his stuff. It’s a great Salon where people are treated as friends. Paul seemed to know everyone! Loved my hair and spending the day with you guys, thank you.

I’ve had the Japanese chemical straightening treatment at Paul Allen and I have loved the results. It’s made such a difference to my hair, it’s so soft and straight now and saves me so much time in the morning. The results are permanent so I have just had to go in to get the treatment done to the regrowth in my hair 7 months later. I’d recommend it to aunyone with frizzy/ curly hair that wants straight sleek hair. Chloe and Paul are lovely and all the staff that work there, always a good experience. Love it! X

Absolutely fantastic! Paul has been the only hairdresser so far who has my hair exactly the way I want it, he was amazing when I wanted extensions and I feel he gets to know exactly what the client wants/ suits and delivers every time! Highly recommend.

Yesterday I've tried for my first time this cute saloon. All the staff is so friendly, patient and kind, I also really loved the way they styled my hair.. they did a really great job! I asked for violet hair, the colour results a little bit more blue than violet but love it anyways. I'm so happy about the final result, I'll definitely come back!

So having had a disastrous experience at a salon in Bridge of Weir on a Saturday afternoon, I came across Paul Allan on a Sunday morning asking for a miracle for a colour and cut correction. Paul and Michelle worked their magic on me for several hours and offered me the reassurance I needed , to see that I could have a glorious head of hair again! These 2 have restored my faith knowing there are genuine and talented stylists out there. They made a horrendous weekend turn into an amazing one for me. They worked on my hair for hours and wouldn't let me leave till i was 100% happy. Their passion for colour and styling is clear. I now attend Paul Allan Hair & Beauty on a regular basis . I work in a very busy clinic at a large hospital and I have never had so many patients comment positively on my new look since coming to this salon. There is always a friendly welcome . Well done guys for saving the day and giving me hair that I love. If anyone is looking for a salon who cares and stylists passionate about what they do, then go visit them. You really won't be disappointed .10/10.

I would give 10 stars if I could, absolute miracle worker, went for keratin/Brazilian blow dry, everything clearly explained and the colour disaster I’d inflicted on myself was corrected beautifully. Lovely friendly owner and staff, beautiful premises, very clean and very fairly priced. Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back.

Hi I popped into Paul's salon as I wanted to change my hair colour, he showed me his colour chart and he helped me decide the colour that would suit my skin tone. Cameron applied my colour for me also made me a coffee. I felt very pampered once finished! I loved the change then Paul cut and shaped my hair i was very pleased. I heard about Paul Allan through my mum. He, and his salon, are always friendly, welcoming and accommodating but most importantly of all...this chap really does know how to cut hair! Took me years to find a consistent hair stylist but it's perfect every time and very reasonably priced to boot. Highly recommended.

Most friendliest hairdressers I've been to. Moved from Northern Ireland almost two years ago, tried a few hairddessers around Patrick which i really didnt like, never done my hair way I would have liked it. Eventually I found Paul Allan's salon, best thing I ever did. They are all so helpful, brilliant hairstylists. So natural looking, I ended up taking the plunge and having my legs waxed for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised that it really wasn’t so bad after all. Cannot thank Paul Allen enough for what he done for me! My hair was destroyed by a different salon that I trusted to give me lilac hair... I walked out looking a mess! Dark purple roots that ran onto white hair and made it turn green! After a lot of work and patience, I left Paul Allen Hair & Beauty with a better hair do than I ever imagined I could get... May not be lilac but its "Ice Lavender" which is even nicer than the lilac I was looking for. Thank you for helping me and thank you for sorting out my hair!!! Will definitely be back again!!!
