If you're looking for a smart mod or indie cut and a nice bit of chat? Then get yerself along and see Mhari. Knows how to get you just the right cut to suit the look your going for. Wouldn't go anywhere else now. I would highly recommend.

Very few barber/ hairdressers / stylists understand the mod cut but Marie does even though I have wirey disobedient hair. Best haircut I have ever had. Will definitely call by whenever I'm in Glasgow.

As any mod will tell you, trusting anyone to cut your barnet can be a stressful and occasionally crushing experience. Fortunately - and I hope she doesn't mind me saying this - Mhairi is from the old school and applies traditional techniques to provide a proper mod cut. Having read the other Google reviews, I took the plunge and my first experience of Penny Lane Barbers on Saturday was worth the 100 mile round trip from Edinburgh. Penny Lane can count on me as regular from now on.

Walked past several times in the last couple of years but never while open, last week I was off work so went inside for a cut and am glad that I did. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted but Marie was skilled and did it well. I was comfy on the couches while waiting too so I'll certainly be back. Might be my #1 choice now. Thanks.

Can't believe ther aren't hundreds of positive posts for this , the best Barber/hairdressers in Glasgows trendy west end...I recently had what I described to my mates as the best haircut for years., You would be doing yourself a disservice not giving this place a try, If not for a haircut , but an opportunity to have a blether with the hippy chick with the scissors..Not to mention to browse the decor, the kool furniture and artwork. GO NOW , you wont regret it.

Cool wee barbers shop, you may need to wait and can't make an appointment. The only place I'll ever get my hair cut, when Mhairi retires, I'm shaving my head!
