I can rely on Primo Barbers to cut my hair exactly the way I want and do it that way every single time I visit. That's pretty rare, especially with the challenging hair that I have.

I've been to Primo several times now, and each time I've had an excellent haircut. The barbers take their time with the cut, wash your hair as necessary and do an excellent job finishing it off (great blending, neat edges, straight razer to remove hair from the back of the neck). The biggest issue is it can take quite a while to actually get your hair cut, probably because of the time they take. I've been 2 or 3rd in the queue at opening time and am often there for an hour and a half, I imagine it must get much worse later on in the day. The summary is it is a great haircut, really friendly staff, and reasonably priced, but be careful to take enough time out of schedule to spend there.

I came to Primo for beard maintenance and consultation and left really satisfied. It takes while to wait on the sofa until you get your hair/beard cut but I realized that's the only way they could actually dedicate enough attention to the customer without being rushed (and you don't want anybody with a blade to be in hurry, don't you?). My beard is still in its humble beginnings and my barber even gave me a significant discount because the beard itself didn't require a lot of work. I am definitely coming back because the place is really stylish, the staff is incredibly friendly, they have a really nice touch on everything they do and their customer services and up and above most barbers in the city. At the end of the day you get what you pay for.

A relaxed, modern barbers with an excellent choice of rock, alternative & indie music as its soundtrack. The attention to detail of their stylists is genuinely impressive & I came away having enjoyed a thoroughly excellent personal grooming experience. Great value for money, I'd highly recommend Primo.

Great traditional barbers in the heart of the Barras. Davie and Holly are always fun and friendly but more importantly are top of their profession. Never had a bad haircut in three years going to Primo and Sons. It's just moved to across the road from the Barrowlands ballroom. They do walk-ins so give it a go. You'll not be disappointed.

Been going for roughly a year - moved with them to their temporary location at twisted scissors and now to their unit in the Barras. Always had great haircuts, friendly staff but their new location is quite small and cheaply done up. Never had many problems in the past but recently booked myself in for a haircut, took the train into town, a £5 uber to the shop to find it completely closed. Phoned 4 times with no answer, left to take another £5 uber back to the station and leave without a haircut. After leaving 2 voicemails explaining what had happened I've not heard anything since, no apology or reasoning. Unfortunately I will not be returning to primo as reliability is a problem especially for someone at 16 who's paying for transport to get there

Re-opened in their own gaff at last...great shop within the BAAD...yes the Barras...so plenty atmosphere. Best haircut in Glasgow... Friendly and talented staff...always sharing a joke and a story... So I can't recommend it highly enough...and I say it again...Best Haircut and beard trim in Glasgow...been using them for years and just keeps getting better and better. GET YOURSELF BOOKED IN...

Great place, been 4-5 times now and always left happy. Staff are great too, very friendly and chatty. Can take a bit long so except to be there for at least an hour but the results are always worth it.
