W. G.so I've been going here since it not long opened. I used to go to Turkish barbers and line up in a queue with the rest of them to get a 15 minute hair cut. not anymore. Safehands like to give a proper barber experience your in the chair for about 45 minutes u get a great service,atmospher and the banter is shite but great at the same time. all the boys in there are great at what they do and you'll get a great laugh at the same time. So sack the half hour wait in the turks and book yourself an appointment with SAFEHANDS BARBERS you won't regret it!

This place is full of banter, chat, hilarity and top blokes. I use Graeme, The Cavalier Barber, for all my beard trimming needs and he's so nice and gentle. There's always a laugh to be had at Safehands as well as quality haircuts and beard trims, get yersel involved.

Nice relaxed place who actually take the time to talk about what they are doing and make you feel relaxed. I got my cut off of declan. I rang up on the day and made a booking. J. 2.Started using SafeHands couple years ago now and literally would not go anywhere lese in GLASGOW now...great guys and always felT welcome and eventually part of the SH family having enjoyed a few nights in/out with the lads.
Have attended some memorable nights out with the lads and customers (all organised by the store) and hope to enjoy some more this year.
The only barbers in town that the "nicest c**t in Glasgow" would dare be seen in ! :-P

C. M.Don't expect your usual high Street hairdresser, professional reception and coffee. This place is down and dirty with the authentic Glasgow banter included in the price. Might not be the pace to bring your prim and proper girlfriend, though I'm sure the could be gentle men if required. Really the guys are genuine and down to earth, and not at all PC. They're talented cutters and their not to shabby on the beard trims either. Will listen and hear what your asking for. So in all you really are in Safe Hands, just don't bring your mum.

Safehands operate mostly through an appointment based system which works perfectly for myself and I would recommend you do the same. The service is exceptional and the customer is always put first. Cuts are always of a first-class standard, their expertise second to none and each of the guys are bonafide patter merchants which makes the experience beyond comparrison. Glasgow's finest.

L. B.I've had my beard done by Daryl on a regular basis, I wanted to grow it out so it would have more volume. I showed one image of what I wanted and Daryl instantly understood and guided me on that journey! Genuinely the best imaginable service, on a skills level, but also on a personal level! G. J.Got a haircut by Willie for the first time just over a year and a half ago whilst I was at college and was extremely impressed by the job he did. Went home for about 8/9 months before coming back to Glasgow to live permanently and always said to myself I'd be going back there for a haircut because of how good my previous experience was. Booked in for a haircut with Willie again as soon as they opened back up and I wasn't disappointed.
I think every barbershop in Glasgow needs to take a leaf out of these guys' book. Website looks professional and easy to use, online booking system very simple, and then the experience in the shop is second to none. Both guys were very chatty and a good laugh making you feel very welcome, good tunes on and the haircut again by Willie was incredibly good, exactly as I had wanted it, and better.
I've been to a few bad barbers round Glasgow and honestly after having had a few cuts in Safe Hands with Willie, I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

I felt very comfortable as the guys are friendly and I was also given a lot of advice which helped deciding on the right haircut. considering the amount of work done and the amount of time spent on my birds-nest of a head the price was very affordable. Like I said, couldn't have asked for more.

B. T.Been to a few barbers in Glasgow but Safe Hands is the best haircut I've had by far. Class bunch of boys and you'll always have good chat while you're there. My usual barber Scott even came in on his day off so I could get a haircut before I went on holiday, I'd highly recommend the shop to anyone.

On occasions when Daryl hasn't been available, I have had my haircut by Condy and Scott, they still deliver brilliant service and a great haircut.
The shop is small, only with 3 chairs so advise to book in advance. Always made to feel welcome and never a dull moment with the patter! Great laugh each time am in the guys are all sound! Can't go wrong!

D. J.As far as barbers go it's the best in Glasgow, you don't go just for the haircut but the patter and the friendly service as well. I've been going to safe hands for the past few months and always felt welcome, the guys remember who you are, remember the style you like and generally take an interest.
Nothing is ever a hassle, genuinely can't fault the place in the slightest.
W. H.Merely in Glasgow for a couple of days on business and thought I need a haircut. Did a google and Safe Hands was close to my hotel. Aesthetically you might look at the premises and turnaround as I nearly did, this isn’t glitz and glamour as some barbers these days are. However what you will get is a dam good haircut not rushed at all and you are given a full 45 min slot by a barber who is very competent with both the scissors and the razor. Pity Glasgow is a long way for me as I would certainly use as my regular barber if I was local.

Daryl always knows exactly what I'm after even if it's a different style, along with any of the other guys that have gave me a trim if he's been off. Beard trims are great too and exactly what I'm looking for and it's a great laugh in the shop. Would completely recommend this place to other people.

A good friend recommended Daryl and the Safehands crew as I still wasn't happy with the cut I was getting elsewhere. Having always aspired to have a great beard this was important to me when choosing my barber. I called up the shop and Daryl just happened to be the guy who answered the phone that day. The first appointment took place and it was evident that the cut and finish of both the hair and the beard was exactly what I wanted. A repeat appointment was booked and I've never looked back. I've recommended the shop to several friends now and they have all been equally happy with their cuts from Craig and Graham. The atmosphere in the shop is first class and its always more than just going for your haircut more like going to hang out with some pals for an hour. Great tunes, refreshments are always on offer and the banter's always flowing. You could go to a w@nky salon or trendy hipster barber shop that charges you a ridiculous price for silly head massages and boring chat if you like or you could go to Safehands and get a proper haircut and have a proper laugh! Make the right decision.

Barbers are all generally of a high skill level, but some are clearly more adept at certain styles than others, so it takes a bit of trial and error to decide which you prefer, depending on what sorts of styles you like.
While at first it seems a very “laddish” establishment, and dripping with toxic masculinity, it doesn’t take long for the veneer to drop and for one to realise that these are modern day philosophers dealing with the weightier issues of our time.
Patter = generally good, well above average
Cuts = generally good, occasionally excellent
Pricing = reasonable
liklihood of your barber stealing your girl = extremely high

Daryl, Graeme and Craig are great guys, they take proper care of their customers, haven't been a single time I've been there and didn't get a good laugh, even my father got a haircut and loved it. Great atmosphere.

Daryl is one of the nicest guys I've met and the quality of the cut is always the first priority, the lads take there time and make sure they give you advise on what would suit you.
The value for money is another factor to consider , Condys rate would have been over double what Safehands charge when he worked at Rainbow Rooms in Glasgow. So I see it as a bargain !
