Walid is a very professional and enthusiastic hairdresser. I have been getting my hair cut here for 1 year now and every time I get a cut he remembers what I want and can cut it to perfection. He also give a discount for student, and the price is lower than others.

Definitely one of the good ones, if not the best in West End! Walid is so friendly (and full of good jokes) that I kept coming back for my hair cut. This time I returned to Glasgow from Liverpool to attend some event at the Uni and Walid took care of everything! Will definitely come back again before graduation ceremony!

It’s an awesome price for a student to have a haircut! Besides, the boss’s technique is also wonderful, I’ve been come here for so many times! This shop only charges students 10 pounds. Just bring a photo and you can get a good haircut. The service attitude is also great. And Service is very friendly and enthusiastic. Come without hesitation!

It is an amazing barbershop. Basically, I would like to make comments on four aspects: 1. Location: The York-hill Barber is perfectly located, taking only five minutes’ walk from my house. It is even closer for students in KC. 2. Price: The pricing is quite fair.The barber always charges students at a relatively lower price (that is probably the most attractive and wonderful thing). 3. The barber himself: The barber Walid is a super-cool guy. He is humorous, patient, hardworking and most importantly, skillful barber. He aims at doing a better job for customers rather than an acceptable job. 4. The overall experience: It is an outstanding barber as far as I have known and experienced. I do enjoy the haircut experience there. I have visited the barber for four times, and I would definitely continue to choose it next time.

Great haircut at a good price (£12 in May 22). Walid was super friendly and relaxed, and is a big character with lots to talk about. Shop was quiet when I visited, so was in and out very quickly. I think it’s walk-ins only.

Really nice skill! Walidche has been taking good care of me and my hair for the last 8 months. It was my first time entering a barber shop since my grandma was my only barber before I came to Glasgow. Walidche melted my awkwardness by joking he could be my grandfather and he was really kind to me, just like my grandfather did. If you are a student new to Glasgow and feel unfit, this is the barber shop I would like to recommend.
