I hadn't had my hair cut professionally since before lockdown at which time I lived in a different city, so I didn't have a clue about what to expect from Fringe Benefits. Well, let me tell you, this place is an absolute gem: lovely, welcoming staff, beautifully clean and quite luxurious premises, lots of free advice about looking after my hair and a really good, extremely professional cut. I'm going to be recommending this place to everyone!

I’ve just had the best experience today with Marina. I really wanted to change my hairstyle, something shorter but one that would suit me and be sympathetic to my alopecia. Well all I can say is wow, I was blown away by the cut and style which perfectly matched the vision I had in my head. The BEST salon. Ashley has cut my hair many times now and every time it’s just perfect. She has attention to detail and is a great stylist. I feel lucky to have found a hairdresser I trust and when I leave the salon I feel a million dollars. Marina the owner also needs a shoutout as she is always so super friendly and hard working. I always look forward to getting my haircut here! The products used are only the best too. If you’re thinking of going to this salon, DO IT!

This is, by far, the BEST hairdressers I have ever been to. Due to a multitude of factors, not least because I had not had a haircut in over 3 years, I was extremely anxious to attend my appointment. Beforehand, Fringe had called me to assure me of the process, preparing me for my appointment. Whilst there, I felt safe and cared for, as well as receiving an excellent haircut. My hair designer, Ashley, was impeccable and amazingly kind, understanding exactly what I wanted whilst accommodating my anxiety. I would recommend this salon to absolutely anyone, and keenly look forward to my return.

Just had a haircut with Sacha; she is a trainee hairdresser and I was her model. Sacha listened carefully to what I said I wanted and gave me an excellent haircut under supervision from the lovely Sian. All part of Sacha's practical training. So pleased with the new shape and so well styled for a trainee. And excellent customer service from Sacha. Thank you ladies - more than happy to continue as your model!

Fabulous hairdressers best in Gloucester by a mile. Friendly, lovely team headed by Marina who always give you a warm greeting. Best hair cuts I have ever had. Just a lovely place to go and relax and get your hair sorted. Highly recomnended.

i came in on saturday and was booked in for a haircut with marina, and was very nervous since it was my first appointment without my mum!! the moment i walked in, i was treated so so well and felt incredibly welcome. marina treated me amazingly and made me feel safe and she gave me amazing advice for my hair. along with a lovely scalp massage, marina gave me the most beautiful haircut and i couldnt stop smiling the minute she took the scissors to my hair. she gave me a gorgeous look with layers and a fringe, and ive been so much more confident since. the staff were lovely and the salon has an amazing atmosphere of friendship and i felt very welcome and happy the entire time i was there. thanks to the team i have a beautiful haircut i adore and now understand my hair type and how to care for it. if you need any help whatsoever, this salon is 100% the place to go!! ive never been so impressed with a haircut before and am incredibly grateful x

I have been going to Fringe Benefits for several years now. The salon is always spotlessly clean and you are guaranteed a warm, professional welcome. All of the stylists are very skilful. Marina does my hair and always gives a brilliant result with both cut and colour. I've recently had a complete restyle - going from a long bob to a short cut. Marina made sure my new style was completely suited to my look and lifestyle and I am delighted with the end result. I would recommend the salon to anyone!

Having a balayage consultation with Marina, I had hair treatment to begin with. Thanks to lovely Jemma, my thick, damaged and dried hair feels so smooth and soft! Firstly all members of staff that work at this salon are extremely friendly, very helpful and comply with Covid guidelines. They all made me feel safe and welcomed, while explaining their rules and showing me around. I had a consultation with Marina who explained throughly about the type of treatment I needed for my hair to get it the way I wanted. Amazing hairdresser, I love going here! My hair is so temperamental a lot of places I’ve been didn’t take me seriously when I told them about my hair and end up with a big frizzy lump at the end. It gave me an anxiety about going to the hairdressers. The girls a fringe benefit did the exact opposite, they listened to exactly what I said and offered me solutions to manage my hair abs it’s better than ever. I now know that when I go this salon I don’t have to worry about anything and I will leave with beautiful hair!.

From the second I stepped through the doors to the second I left I was wowed. Showed around the salon introduced to other members of staff (which is great for anyone with anxiety) and Zoe spent time really understanding my needs. She gave me an amazing cut, chatting all the time making me feel at ease. Marina also made the effort to introduce herself and get involved in the excitement of my friends wedding etc. The information on the products was very informative but at the time felt like they were almost over sold, but when I asked if the girls were on commission was told no but they all believe in the products so much they enjoy selling them. Which make me more confident in purchasing in the future. As I was leaving I was handed a cute little box with a thank you on which contained so chocolates, what a lovely touch. Thank you Zoe for my new hair and Marina your team is amazing, keep doing what you are doing.

Good hair cut, free fringe trims and friendly staff. They give you a hair care plan and advise products you should use for your hair type, but the products are expensive. The lady that did my hair has a resting concentration face that may make you think she's not happy, but she is. Lol x
