I went in short bob went to short back and sides and she did exactly what I asked she got exactly what I meant and couldn’t fault her work what’s so ever. She was kind, validated my anxiety’s explained what she was doing and was so thorough with my hair and usually I go (when I’ve gone somewhere else) and I got something to pic out about how they missed something but not here… absolutely brilliant job will definitely be returning!!!! Also decent price for what you receive, the girls in there are lovely as well can not fault my time here.

On arrival all staff were very professional and pleasant. The booking system was very quick and easy to get a piercing same day. There was a little bit of a wait but, Beth was amazing and took time and care with each customer and made you feel really comfortable. Thank you love the new piercing. Highly recommend.

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced in Kara's. I Phoned up in the morning as we really wanted them pierced with a needle rather than a gun as we have had problems with guns in the past and they managed to fit her in the same day. All if the staff were polite and friendly. I would highly recommend.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience with Fran yesterday having my nose pierced. Friendly, kind and professional. I unexpectedly came over a bit faint during the process and without having to say anything, she immediately recognised I had lost all colour. The piercing was over in a flash and she lay me down, chatted to me and gave me water. I didn’t feel rushed and she was so so nice. Fab customer service! Thank you Fran.

Been going here for a while but thinking about changing. Staff are friendly but there could be improvements. Receptionists just give you a slip of paper and don't really tell you what it is for. Was not very happy with the finish of my hair. Wanted it straight but was still very wavy in places. Felt like she was rushed as her next appt arrived. Hairdressers don't really offer advice on what they think would suit which would sometimes be nice. Nail technician was really good though and shellac nails are still going strong a week on with no chips.

Just had my nose pierced and I was an absolute wreck the piecer talked me through the process and offered me numbing spray she made me feel completely at ease and within 5 minutes it was done and I was gone. Highly recommend all staff are really friendly and helpful! Will definitely be going back :)

Must say reading some of the other reviews that people must have got the wrong hairdressers. Kara's is really good and very professional. Always have my coat hung up by one of the staff, who I must say are very friendly, and then they usually take me through to the salon and pull the chair out for me to sit in. Would highly recommend this hairdressers to everyone. Went last Saturday and I am very pleased with what they did. I've just started using their beauty salon which is very good too. I use to go to another place for my beauty services but now I can get it all done in one place, which is great. Highly recommend

Went in salon today for highlights and lowlights, was a training day and have to say was delighted with the results! The young lad that did my hair did a fabulous job! Have had my hair done here and spray tan , massage and eyebrows etc,,,,, never been disappointed! Lovely staff !😊

Love going to Karas, it seems I’m there every week ! However I have noticed how each of the piercers have different techniques for doing each piercing eg about a year ago I had my helix pierced with a gun ! I didn’t know how dangerous it was and it still hasn’t healed properly but about 2 months ago I got another helix piercing below it done by a lovely lady with a needle ?? All of my lobes ( 3 in each ear ) have been done with a gun but they’re ok, I just don’t understand why they still use guns ? Especially for dangerous piercings. Apart from that I would recommend Kara to anyone, cheap prices, good hygiene and caring piercers (I’d recommend Jade or Fran)

I had my nose done with a needle I was very nervous but the lovely lady calmed me down spoke me thro the hole thing and I was fine so much so that my son asked for his eAr I agreed and it looks great. 2 days later I went for madonna lip piercing again they calmed me down answered all my questions and spoke me thro the hole thing and it looks greAt would defo go back again if I want any thing else done and would always ask for jade great woman 👏👍

Amazing! First time I went there and they made my appointment with someone who was good at styling my hair how I wanted it. Sian was lovely and so easy to talk to and made my hair look amazing and understood how I wanted it cut.

Needed a wig for hairloss from chemotherapy. Really discreet, private room to look at wigs & try on. Not rushed at all & sympathetic to how hard it was for me. Alison ( think that was her name but apologies if wrong) was lovely. Made a difficult time much easier than it could have been

As a new resident to Gloucester I have used these guys a few times. Really good and quick service with pleasant and relaxed staff. The only thing I would say is £14.95 for a gents trim is a little on the pricey side... Could come down abit ;-)
