Only recently started coming here but now I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Phylli is incredibly friendly, always makes you feel welcome, and provides a fantastic service in a very relaxed atmosphere.

I've been using this barbers now for around four to five years (with some experimentation elsewhere in between) and I can honestly say I feel absolutely no need to consider anywhere else. The staff are absolutely fantastic and really make you feel recognised and valued as an individual customer and the service is always brilliant.
The price is very reasonable for the level of work that's put into the cut and I've never left feeling unsatisfied with the look of my hair. If it's something that you look out for in a barbershop then I must add that the decor and overall atmosphere of the place is pretty good too with comfy leather sofas to wait on as well as an overall warm and cozy feel to the shop.
Big shout out to Sam and Phylli especially as these two are always fantastic whenever I visit and really go above and beyond the expectations of customer service and have me leaving looking and feeling fresh and excited to come back for another chat.

I over the winter neglected to cut my hair, so I decided to go to the waterfront Barbers to it cut, not my normal place, but worth a try.
I was greeted by Sam, who from the start was absolutely amazing, honestly, the service from her was outstanding.
I wasn't sure entirely what I wanted to be done, so we spoke for about 10 minutes discussing my hair and when we decided what I would like, Sam paid such close attention to detail, if she wasn't sure what I meant, she'd ask (something I rarely see in hairdressers/barbers, but I appreciate it so much). I honestly never go and get my hair cut with expectations of good things, but Sam has changed that, and I cannot wait until my hair grows again, just so I can get it cut there.
Sam has restored my faith in having my hair cut and was an overall great experience in general.

I needed a barbers for this week as I wasn't able to use my regular place. I booked well in advance so that I could be in and out and back to work without any waiting about. I arrived 5/10 minutes before my booking to hear that my Barber was somehow 45 minutes late and had someone in his chair, to which it then felt as if it was me who was the inconvenience to every other barber as they had to decide between them who had the honours.
The haircut itself was good but not exceptional, sort of what I expected as they all seem pretty young and not as experienced.
The price was different to as advertised online, luckily it was cheaper and not more expensive. However I found the option to tip at the end an unnecessary addition, and a horrible pressure to comply because if you don't, they assume you weren't satisfied however that's not going to always be the case.
Won't be revisiting as I need somewhere reliable for bookings as I get a cut close to my work hours.

Best place in town for a trim hands down. Quality barbers, great shop and ideal location. Would drive for hours, great overall experience. Only snag I would make is during the summer months it is very warm, I do feel an air conditioning system would be beneficial for both the customers and the barbers.

Saw Sam first thing this morning. Had a great time, may have talked too much (me) as missed human interaction. She was a little needy with the praise but did a great job. Would highly recommend
