Came here for it's awesome sustainability focus and the hair service was the best I've had in Leeds - win win! All the staff were lovely and friendly. Megan did a great job creating a lovely natural looking balayage and then took the time to achieve the right tone for me. The cut and finish was also perfect and I recieved lots of helpful tips and advice for working with and styling my (difficult) curly hair at home. Looking forward to my next visit! Would 100% reccomend. Go for amazing hair that doesn't cost the earth!

Wanted to write a review to say how pleased I am with the service I received here. This was my first time at the salon so I did not know what to expect but I couldn’t recommend them more. Lorenzo cut my hair after discussing at length with me what I wanted; it ended up being better than I could’ve imagined! My colour, which was supervised by Mel, has turned out amazing too. Definitely the best hair service I have had, will he coming back for sure. Thanks so much Mel and Lorenzo!

Mel is truly a master of her craft! I asked for her specifically after reading the amazing reviews and was willing to wait for an appointment in a month after my consultation with her. As soon as she meets you, she will know exactly what you’re after for your look and make it a thousand times better. I came to the salon with high expectations to be saved from the disaster hair colour I’ve had a year ago in a different salon (not in Leeds), she revived my hair in a way that I felt like myself again! She listens to what you want and keeps you involved in the process. She also recommended me a shampoo and conditioner based on my hair texture and for once I’m not suffering from the frizzy hair crown I always had and now have soft shiny hair. The salon has a calm and relaxing vibe and everyone is so kind and welcoming, this definitely won’t be the last time I visit.

Absolutely amazing! Me and my partner came in as a treat and the service was brilliant! Everyone was very friendly, a very chill atmosphere. We both had Mel doing out hair- I had a complete restyle and I'm in LOVE with my hair. My partner is usually quite picky and has a beard, and Mel worked her magic. He was also really happy with his cut, and she gave us so much confidence in her ability. She made us feel comfortable and listened to, and really was brilliant! Would 100% recommend to anyone to visit!

After my partner mentioned she'd like to try MOC after lockdown finishes, I thought i'd buy her some gift vouchers for a Birthday surprise. Not only did Heather go out of her way to talk me through the many options available, but she kindly posted and delivered the vouchers (after postal issues and snowy weather!) beautifully packaged with a branded MOC birthday card too. She added Chloe to the waiting list and wished her a warm welcome for her next appointment. I cannot recommend the friendliness and enthusiasm of this salon even just ordering a gift for someone. I admire their sustainable ethos and uncompromising customer service. Thank you guys.

I’m really happy to have found Masters of Craft. It took me a while to find the right salon, working with ethical products, and Chloe was just wonderful! She worked her magic in a great haircut, which I really love, giving me lots of tips on creating different hairstyles. She loves what she does and cares about you. The salon is beautifully decorated & the atmosphere is very chilled – great if you want to get away from it all. I also had a head massage before my haircut and felt very relaxed. I had an appointment with Lorenzo recently and am delighted with the experience. after going to a different hairdresser and my hair had faded green, Lorenzo and the whole team pitched in to discuss the best way to sort my hair out. I came out of the salon with a lovely pink shade, with no green to be seen, the actual cut was done brilliantly and I got so many compliments on the colour, the totally reasonable price made it all the better. the salon itself is lovely, I went just after an intense gym session and arrived early and got to totally chill on their sofa and I was given a drink while I waited. would definitely recommend the salon and Lorenzo in particular.

Everyone I see walking out of there looks great! My first visit to Masters of Craft and what a lovely experience. A truly unique salon that stands apart from.others I have been to. Chloe and Megan gave my hair the full pampering treatment it needed. I love my new cut and am so happy with all the advice given to help improve the condition of my hair. My hair looks and smells divine and I can't thank them enough. I have finally found a hairdressers that I trust, who go above and beyond in their service.

The best hair salon in Leeds! The place itself makes you feel relaxed the moment you walk in. I have been seeing Heather for many years now and I know that she will always make me look and feel great. I would most definitely recommend this place. They are also very flexible with appointments, I often call them last minute and they are the most helpful if I have an important hair day! I am not brave enough to experiment with more creative cuts/colours but the things I've seen here are absolutely amazing!

When Lorenzo moved to MOC, I had no hesitation in following her as she's always done an amazing job with my slightly wild hair - both cut and colour! Amazing little gem of a place. Great boutique salon vibe and a place i feel like i could hang out all day in - if they'd let me! Heather has been my hairdresser for years, and despite me leaving for London and trying lots of other high end salons she is still my favourite colourist/stylist - . The team at MoC are amazing. Heather & Chloe have both done my hair for the past year or so, and it always looks brilliant. Visits to the salon are always a relaxing experience too - the decor is beautiful, the coffee is great and the head massages you get whilst having a shampoo are the best! Visited this Hairdressers when I was a student at Leeds Arts University. Such a nice experience away from busy city and student area. Heather is lovely and welcoming. Really felt at home there:-) £40 for student wash and cut is a good price for Leeds! Worth every penny!

I cannot rate Master of Craft highly enough - they are hands down the best salon in Leeds! Not only are they totally ACE at cutting hair they are really eco conscious and all their products are vegan. Heather Baker cut my hair yesterday and applied a delicious treatment and i feel like a new woman today!
