A. D.Wow! Just wow! I went here as a recommendation from a friend. The salon was so welcoming and friendly and the staff couldn't do enough for you. It's been a very, very long time since I've been to a salon that offers such friendly service and attentiveness. If you want somewhere to go for your hair doing where they listen to exactly what you want and give you a full pampering, then this is the place to go. You'll come out feeling like a completely different person! Thank you so much to Karen for your expertise. I'll definitely be coming back!
K. S.Today I had my hair cut at a salon I have never been to before, now I have to say I have been looking for a " Good" hairdressers for years and I think I have found it right on my doorstep.
Now I give good and bad criticism and I use social media to share my experiences " honestly " .
The lady that cut my hair made me feel so comfortable she listened to everything I wanted and definitely delivered.
Staff couldn't do enough for their customers. The salon is absolutely beautiful and spotless so modern.
I just want to say Thank You Karen for your great hospitality and amazing talent at cutting hair..

Over the years I’ve had a number of the team cut and style my hair, but I especially love getting booked in with Karen or Sasha, as they always do such an amazing job! From start to finish they make you feel so welcome and comfortable in the salon - I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

However , I also find all the staff team to be brilliant and have had my hair done by most of them in the salon . The salon is inviting and friendly and is always immaculate.

Got a complete restyle from Conor & I am thrilled. Went from long, flat, past shoulder-length hair to a fresh choppy mod cut. I discussed the style with some photos I took, Conor understood the brief & smashed it, did one of the best cuts I've had.
This was my first time here & I will 100% be going back, top marks.

E. H.Amazing Salon. Karen & the team do a fantastic job. Karen has been styling my hair for over 10 years and the service has always been exemplary! Whilst she knows me very well now, she always gives consistently high service and will always check every aspect of my needs as well as making suggestions to me. Karen has a great team around her and I never hesitate having one of the team style my hair if Karen is not available as I know they will also provide great skill & service. The new salon is beautiful, and despite the COVID adjustments, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming & as professional as ever!

B. H.I visited the salon for the first time today and had a lovely experience. Free barista style coffees available upon seating, the staff are really attentive and welcoming and even gave me free products for after care. Really pleased with the results - great pricing for high quality results.
L. K.I love the new salon at The Springs - it's so spacious and shiny! The whole place just screams high quality design and finish, from the layout to the fittings (and the gorgeous reclining seats at the washstations). At the start of July I went for my first colour and cut since lockdown and was so pleased to see Karen and the team; I was made to feel both welcome and safe. I can't wait til the Covd-19 restrictions have eased enough so I can give her a big hug. Karen sorted out my horrific lockdown roots and made me feel so much better; I will never get my hair done anywhere else.
I. A.Before I write this review i just want to say the salon is lovely as was the young lady that cut my hair who was friendly! They have great safety measures in place ie masks disposable gowns and stock some lovely hair products. The literally only downside is the stylist cut far more than what i had actually requested. Hence the 3 star review.
I booked the salon on the whim as its very close to home which i needed having recently had a baby i prefer to be in close proximity to home. I avoided my regular salon as it involves a fair bit of travel to get to it but wish i had just stuck to my regular salon for my cut now.
Just to put in perspective my hair was at a length i could literally sit on with no struggle so super long, i get it cut every 8-10 weeks without fail! on arrival i talked through with the stylist what i was wanting, i asked for 2 1/2 iches off, blunt straight cut nothing fancy or complicated, i specifically reiterated that i would like my hair to sit at the end tip of my spine. I then had my hair washed and brushed to rid of knots which takes a while due to the length.
Just before the stylist took to the scissors she did not double the amount shes about to chop. All salons i have ever visited the etiquette i am used to is to double check after hair has been washed and scissors are in hand to cut to clarify amount. In turn unfortunately an additional double the amount i requested was taken off.
Despite that it looks lovely and i appreciate its only hair and it will grow but sadly its just not the amount i asked for its only when i returned home and viewed it with a back and front mirror that i then realised it was actually sitting at the middle of my spine as apposed to the end tip of my spine that i had requested and when i tied it back the length when brought forward is just under my chest which made me cry a little as thats the shortest its been in decades.
I just wish the stylist had double checked after washing and combing through once she was about to cut it, i thought that would be the done thing as it has been every time i have ever gone anywhere else for hair cut, i would have simply advised its too much before taking essentially double the amount off i wanted.
Whilst i probably wont be getting my hair cut from the salon again and will stick to my regular salon and stylist for that i would not hesitate in getting a wash and blow dry from here.
It is a lovely salon with friendly staff and good products, i just would not feel fully confident having a cut in future here after my experience however as highlighted would happily revisit for blow drys.

c. t.I went in with an absolute hair disaster and conor fixed me right up. So professional and I absolutely love my new hair. A real perfectionist who took the time to listen to what I wanted and create something better than I could have expected. I'll be back soon!

All the staff had such a warm welcoming vibe and constantly checked if I wanted a drink (I drank my weight in tea) I had one of the best days I've had in a long time as Nic was a absolute legend with a great sense of humour! Not only did he make me laugh he did the most incredible hair transformation on me. I left feeling better than I have in a long time. Thank you Nic, Karen and the Room97 team for being fab.
