I’m very pleased with the work Chantelle has done on my hair today. My curls are now properly defined and uniform, not clumpy/frizzy hair with a few curls. I will be able to grow it a bit longer now - fingers crossed I can maintain the look with Chantelle’s advice and instructions on which products to use… 😊

I recently had a curl transformation at The Curl Therapist and I have left with a new love for my curly hair! Having naturally curly hair, I have found it difficult to find a hairdresser who knows what they are doing with my hair type. Having found The Curl Therapist, I now have someone who knows what curly hair is all about and how to look after it, and most of all, how to cut it! I was also given loads of tips on how to look after my hair on my own and the do's and don'ts!! I would recommend The Curl Therapist to anyone with curly hair.

I was delighted to see a curl specialist had opened locally, and was not disappointed to find that Chantelle had extensive knowledge on how to cope with curls! What a lovely lady, she made me feel at ease right away. Most hairdressers do not seem to be trained how to handle curly hair so it was refreshing to hear what she had to say. I loved to feel the bounce of my curls as I walked out of the door, armed with tips and guidance which Chantelle readily shared, including where to buy products, even down to the comb, which made a nice change too! I had a ‘transformation’ which included a cut and would have liked some discussion about what I wanted from the cut, and I needed to trim a couple of areas later where long bits had emerged, but perhaps that’s the nature of a dry cut, as I’d never had one before. That’s the only reason I have given four stars. I would definitely recommend and encourage all curly folk to get down to Horsforth and treat your locks to some TLC from the lovely Chantelle! I also wanted to mention that I was happy to pay a deposit. As a small business owner myself in the past, I understand why it’s important to have some basic contractual boundaries in place when booking a service - you are buying the time of an expert who might otherwise give that allocation to someone else - it’s fair to ask. Thanks again Chantelle I will be back 🙂

After waiting sometime to find a curl salon, I was most excited when I found the shop was opening on my door step. I Contacted Chantelle almost straight away, she was very prompt with all her messages and the booking was made easily and quickly. I was more than happy to pay £20 deposit to secure my appointment. Through experience, I know getting a curl appointment is like gold dust so it was peace of mind for me knowing that the appointment was sercured. As soon as I arrived at my appointment I felt at ease, Chantelle is lovely and a real peoples person. She listened to what I had to say and really took on board what my wishes were. The whole experience was relaxed. Chantelle talked me through what she was doing, it wasn't rushed in anyway. Chantelle was professional and took time in her work,it was clear that she was passionate about curls! I have always fought against my curls but Chantelle has given me the tools to start embracing them. The end result was amazing, I finally have bouncy curls! I can't thank Chantelle enough. Thank you! Ill be back x
