I had my first haircut here in April I think, when they first opened after the long lockdown! I loved it and then again I went in August to cut my hair short! Both the times, it done by Caitlin I believe! Friendly and professional service! Absolutely loved the haircut! Thank you! I have recommended flappers to few others! Thank you

Professional and procedural. Excellent customer care. Respectfully refused to serve me the gentlemen's cut (without wash) just because I had also booked colour. Unfortunate waste of time. I did not want my hair to be washed again, only to be washed a third time to be coloured. Did not just take my money for a service I did not consent to but offered me a refund instead. My friend also received excellent customer care. When his hair went orange they re-coloured in a different style free of charge. Eventually found time to have my balayage 3 months later. Really happy with it. Apologies to the owner and hair stylist that I wasn't prepared at the time. I really appreciated you not taking my money, very professional. Unfortunate to waste the time and business for such a small step in your procedure.

Best in Leicester, usually a haircut is a dread but I've started enjoying my haircut experiences since I started going to Flappers over 5 years ago! Friendly staff, amazing vibe, great ambience, complimentary drink and sometimes even a brownie. Never left with a disappointed cut whether its a trainee or senior stylist!

I came in today to get my hair restyled from a mess up another salon did, I was a little worried as I don’t like changing my hair but it definitely paid off! George was so lovely and welcoming and made sure I was looked after at all times during my 5 hour appointment (it was a big change) I was always offered a drink and talked through the experience to make sure I was comfortable, happy and satisfied which I completely was throughout. This is definitely a lovely environment and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I would 100% recommended and I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you all at Flappers and Gentlemen and especially George for being so patient with my extremely long hair, I’m loving the short blonde look!

I have been coming to Flappers and Gentlemen for a number of years now. I can say without question that I would go nowhere else to have my haircut. When I have my haircut, there is such a lovely atmosphere in the salon. The service is second to none. All staff are friendly, accommodating and show are real passion for the perfect haircut and styling. And it goes without saying that Meg who cuts my hair does an outstanding job.

The staff in the salon are all lovely, the decor and atmosphere is fantastic, and everyone goes out of their way to make your visit special. I've been to Flappers and Gentlemen to see Blake now three times, after trying a number of other places in the city. Why I feel this is my go to place now, in no particular order: * The atmosphere is super welcoming * Blake has been super helpful when I've not been 100% decided/a bit faffy about changing styles, without being pushy * I'm very happy with my haircut each time I've been * Booze with your haircut? Yes please It's taken me about three years and lots of visits to different salons, but happy to now have found the one!

Really loved this place. Staff are cool, great atmosphere, and a first class hair cut and conversation from Blake. By all means not the cheapest in town, but certainly not the priciest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, especially if you're looking for something a bit more on trend than your standard barbers. Top marks from me, already looking forward to the next cut here.

It’s been several years since I walked out of a hair salon feeling completely satisfied with my cut. I went in with an idea but the wrong hair for it and Blake’s advice helped me avoid a disaster. I left with something quite different but instantly loved. I would always rather achieve something I hadn’t planned for that works, than go with the plan only to be unhappy. I opted to pay a little more than I usually would for a cut, knowing I wanted a restyle and taking a calculated risk on good experience, and it paid off. Thanks Blake!

There are several reasons why I love this place and here are they are, in no particular order: 1) the music. I don’t want to hear a Radio 1/1Xtra playlist when I’m getting my hair done - the bloody toner is painful enough without the agony of having to listen to that bollix too. 2) the salon pooch. Everyone loves Teabag, and if they don’t, they’re dead inside. 3) the stylists! Flappers has some of the most talented and original artistes in the business, with an attention to detail and an obvious love for what they’re doing that puts you at your ease the instant you sit down. You know you’re in good hands! 4) the coffee and cocktails. Enough said. Actually, I take this all back. It’s hard enough to get an appointment as it is and if everyone else just steered clear it would be so much easier! So don’t come to Flappers - it’s horrible and smells of poo xxx

Tried this place as my usual hair dresser was out of the country.. Wasn't over impressed but did the job. £30.00 for a 20 minute trim and didn't even style my hair at the end. Ah well, you do get a lovely cup of tea and a biscuit.... ;)

Finally I have found the fixed haircut designer in the Leicester cause it is very difficult to find hair designer who know how to cut Taiwanese people hair. Atmosphere and service attitude are really good in here. I really recommend to all Chinese people.
