Have been using their services for a long time and never been disappointed. Special shout out to Chelsea for my wonderful experience with her today. She really listened to me, gave me a tailor made haircut and loving the finish with beautiful waves! Great services with very reasonable price!

Cannot recommended George’s hairdressing enough!! Bought my mum and sister here to get their hair done and they decorated the salon and spares no expense. All the girls were very knowledgeable and lovely, we all really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

I've been a client at George's for 10+ years and have always loved how they've handled my hair. I've visited the Oadby Salon and the Allandale Road one and found both extremely welcoming and accommodating. The last visit I had was at the Allandale Road Branch. I went for my usual full head of highlights with a toner put on afterwards. Before my visit I had let my young daughters put 'wash out' pink hair chalk on the ends of my hair. BIG mistake. It did not wash out and it had gripped onto my blonde colour. I told the stylist this when I got to my appointment and she was very understanding and said she would try to get it out for me alongside doing my usual treatments. After the highlights were put in and washed ou she put my toner on. She then abruptly had to wash it off my head as it was reacting with the pink and turning other parts of my hair pink. So all in all the toner was on my hair for about 2 minutes. She cut and styled my hair beautifully after and looking in their mirrors it looked beautiful and we seemed to have gotten away with any more pink drama! I left the salon feeling refreshed and happy. However, after the first time I washed it myself at home, when it dried I noticed that the front of my hair looked very yellow. People started commenting on it and I felt quite self-conscious. I decided to ring the salon and ask their advice as this had never happened before. I explained about the hair-chalk again. They were very supportive and understanding from the get-go. I spoke to the salon manager over the phone who was lovely and told me to come in and she would personally take a look. When I arrived back at the salon I was welcomed very warmly and the manager came over to me and said she could see instantly what I meant and said it's been caused by the toner having to come off too early and not neutralising the colour. I apologised myself as I knew this was ultimately down to the hair-chalk reacting badly to the toner but they were very accommodating and they said they would be putting a new toner on me that day and getting rid of the yellow tones for me. I was beyond grateful and happy and as most of the pink had been cut off my ends on my last visit, I was happy that this would work. My stylist Megan was lovely as she treated and styled my hair and I was unbelievably happy with the end result. I was back blonde! The manager came over to check I was happy and when I went to pay at the desk- as I assumed I would be as it was ultimately not the fault of the salon- there was no charge. I want to thank the salon for treating me so lovely from start to finish and I can't wait for my next visit. I promise not to have ANY hair-chalk in my hair this time!

Me and my daughter get our hair done here with Rose! She always listens to what I ask for and Im always really happy with the results. She gets it right every time and is really lovely and freindly aswel! Aneesa who washed my hair was also lovely and made the best hot chocolate !

I book at this salon regular for me an my daughter, and they are always chatty and friendly, but recently at the last 2 visits I’ve noticed when I call to book the lady gives me a price for the cut and finish and when I get to the salon they charge me more than what I was told. I don’t have any treatments so don’t understand. This time it was uncomfortable as the hair stylist hardly spoke I was the one doing the talking and when she went down she whispered something in the ears of the other colleagues and they turned to look back at me and then charged me extra, I should have questioned the price but was very uncomfortable with how they were unprofessional as I came down so just wanted to leave.

The staff was very professional, polite and helpful. Not only they give the best results for your wish, they also help you with advices, care for your hair and strive to give it the best treatment. Every member is extremely helpful and caring, you can be sure you'll have a great time during your treatment. Very nice people, very satisfied with the professionalism, I would definitely recommend !

I have both + and - comments to give. Positive: I always have my haircut at George Hairdressing and I always get what I want and what I've expected. I exit the salon happy and satisfied. Very professional and friendly. Really nice location. Booking on the phone and online are easy and straight-forward. Negative: 1. Staff members are not clear with how prices work, especially with new clients. They should give you a price list for you to look at and have an idea before booking something. However, they don't give it to you unless you ask for it. My mum ended up paying £80 for her hair colouring when we were told to pay £70 on her consultation day. There are also different levels of stylists for your Cut & Blow-dry. Ask staff members about it before booking. I'm sure they'll help. 2. I've been to this salon 4 times and I found dirt and hair on my cup of tea and this happened twice. Despite this, the rest of the salon is exeptionally tidy and clean.

Rose is so lovely. She made me feel very comfortable and Omg when she washes your hair it feels amazing! She remembered me from my precious visit which was almost a year ago and made me feel like a valued customer. My hair looks amazing and my husband loves it. Thank you Rose xx

Would recommend 100% with my eyes closed. From the very moment you step in they look after you in a very professional and warm way.They make you feel really comfortable and cared about. I am extremely pleased with my stylist, Sophie, who has excellent people skills, she always listens to your requests and goes above and beyond to provide you with the best of the results. She always strives for perfection and will not stop until you are happy. I know that when I go to George´s I am in good hands and I am going to love the results. Prices are affordable too, which is a bonus.

Took my wife there to choose a wig. The lady, Jane, was very friendly and showed my wife 3 or 4 wigs none of which were quite right. Jane then reordered some in different colours and styles and brought them to our house where my wife was able to chose one which she is happy with. There was no pressure to buy. Such A Beautiful and Welcoming Place. I had an appointment for a balayage and hair cut. I was greeted by the lovely staff members on desk and was taken upstairs where I met George who did a fantastic job with my hair. I absolutely adore it! He explained the whole procedure. He was kind and we had such a laugh through out the procedure being done. I would honestly recommend George to anyone! He did such a perfect job! & I will be returning to see him again!! I have struggled to find a good hairdresser in Leicester for so long and I am so glad I went to see George at George's Allandale road! He is so lovely, always goes the extra mile and he genuinely cares about all his clients.
