I had the best experience at the academy. Vin and Raj are extremely supportive throughout the 10 weeks and always ensure you’re comfortable and confident in what you’re doing. I felt completely confident going on into barbering after I had finished the course despite having no prior experience and I absolutely love it! I would highly recommend joining the academy.

I was apart of 10 Week Course and would like to mention the confidence and support I had received from Vin throughout my journey. He never let you walk out the doors at the end of the day without feeling like you’ve not achieved something. Always willing to help outside course days and provides advice on what tools to get. The team were always happy to help and share their own experiences to help you succeed. Would recommend this course massively if you’re looking for someone that is keen to build your skills and knowledge with a smile! Thank you Vin!

Great place, I decided to let a trainee cut my hair and they are obviously taught very well as I keep coming back over and over again. Great staff as well, even when I walk past I get a wave from someone on the inside and a warm welcome when I walk in as well

This for me has to be the best place to train in Leicester!! I was very passionate about becoming a barber and chose Leicester Barbering academy after my first meeting with Vin the academy director. He was so encouraging so enthusiastic and I felt at ease straight away. Let me tell you I wasn't disappointed at all. I was taught not only How to cut hair, but the importance of client interaction, how important presentation is for myself the salon environment etc. How Barbering can work financially for me and no only that I also received aftercare Vin had a challenge with me being left handed but that didn't stop him being able to show me certain angles and how to hold the scissors and clippers correctly If you are passionate about becoming a barber,I cannot recommend this course enough. You won't be disappointed and will receive the passion back and more.

Having built up the courage to change the path of my career I couldn't of been more happy with decision...being part of the Leicester barbering academy has been the most impactful education of my life.... Vin the director is a super educator and has a vast amount of knowledge...I could not of asked for a better teacher...the course itself was intense however Vin does an amazing job in going through each technique over and over again. As well as learning we also had a lot of fun and laughter learning. I cannot express how happy I am with what Vin has taught me and all that he has done for me. It's not just the course, it's all of Vin's experience and expertise. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn barbering!!!

I would like to give 5 stars to Leicester Barbering Academy and Vin. Vin is a great person,he is very approachable and he is so much more than a Barbering teacher,he is a mentor and he cares about you,he will look in every detail and aspect to find you the best technique so you can do your job. The money i paid for my course was really nothing for the knowledge i got with it. U will learn about consultation that is so important..we dont just cut hair..we care about what the customer wants..is not just the money with Vin or me now and days and thats what i learn there.

I was wanting to aquire barbering skills to add to my existing knowledge of womans hair and save money on my sons haircuts... I heard about leic school barberage through a mutual aqaintance and enquired further. Vin was very professional immediately follomg witb a detailed email after my initial enquiry and inviting me in to take a look. The venue is based in a lovely qaint shopping area and essy tk access on travel routes. He provided options for payment and was very accommodating to all students needs. He was always accessible and very accomplished both in his own personal barbering career and teaching. I cannot say or recommend this course enough it was intense comprehensive and a pleasure. He has maintained contact post qualifying and offers support and guidance to this day.

Yoda (vinny) is hands down one of the best teacher/mentors I've ever had. If you're ever unsure about anything he slows down to your level of learning and doesn't move on until you've understood. He's always there to support you during and after your course. Also the positive vibe of the whole workplace is something to look forward too, nothing but smiles and positivity, I'd definately recommend vinny to anyone who's interested in kickstarting a barbering a career, or a haircut.
