My 1st visit to the salon was super. Place was clean and welcoming. My hairdresser was Karen. She was lovely and friendly. I instantly felt relaxed. We spoke about what I wanted and she made it happen. My hair was perfect and how I wanted it. I will be back and I recommend Redmill Hair Leicester to my friends. Thank you Karen for your time. After a little internet research, I went to Redmill for an oil-based hair repair. An hour later, after a cup of tea, a head massage, a hair wash, treatment, trim, blow dry and straighten, my hair had regained its healthy swish. Aaran, the manager, took pride in his work, and ran a friendly and clean salon. Top marks.

WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!! I LOVE MY NEW HAIR! I went into the salon with a rough idea to what I wanted and left it to the wonderful Arran and he left me with a stunning colour and cut. Highly impressed, best haircut and colour ive had in years. Thank you Arran 🤩

Had my appointment with Zoe and she was AMAZING. My hair is super thick so I wondered how it'd be handled, but Zoe wasn't bothered by that at all and we enjoyed a huge chat during the huge appointment 😂 Thank you for tackling my mane and making it look so pretty! I'll be back soon 😘

I went there for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly, I had read previous reviews regarding lack of Covid safety measures; this was not my experience at all and in the whole time I was there, all staff kept their mask and visors on and kept as distant as practicable from customers and each other. I had only made my booking online this morning and so had opted for Arron as he was the only hairdresser available. I should add that I was long overdue a haircut: with my last hair cut being over a year ago; but have struggled to find someone who does a good job of cutting my thick, long and slightly frizzy hair following my hairdresser of past, emigrating to the states) Arron was friendly and attentive and took on board what I wanted. I walked out an hour later absolutely delighted at the fantastic job he had done... and for once booking a return appointment because I was so pleased with the job he had done! I also had brief interactions with other staff and must say that everyone was friendly and pleasant that I encountered... who knew my last minute appointment for a quick wash cut and blow dry would lead me to such a great hairdresser!!!! :)

I had my hair done 4th November 2020 I went for consult appt with zoe i was reallly nervous zoe talk to me lovely ask what i would like done then she book me in with her she was lovely friendly and did a great job of my hair she went that extra mile to make sure i was happy 😊will definitely be returning with zoe

Not very happy with this hair salon. I asked for a blonde balayage and showed a picture of the shade of blonde (icy white). The woman did the foils etc and straightened my hair afterwards (even though I wanted it curled but she never asked whereas most places ask how you'd like it styled). She cut the ends too how I wanted so all seemed well enough. I paid the £70 odd quid and left. It was only when I was home and was playing around with hair styles that I found all the foils had left a line where it goes from blonde to my root colour (theres about an inch of my brown roots.) A balayage is supposed to be blended whereas the blonde colour stops in such a horrid line that the only way my hair looks decent is if it's all down with the top layer covering everything beneath because if I move any hair you see the unblended hair dye. Very frustrating and annoying as I will now need it fixed at a different salon. The woman barely said 5 words to me the entire time so it felt very awkward and quiet but I can deal with that. Just disappointing when Ive paid so much and not got what I asked for. Do not recommend this place to anyone. (Edit: I have since been back and Shelly has given me a proper balayage this time so I definitely recommend her if it's a balayage you're after! The salon was quick to respond and fix the issue which I am pleased about also)
