I took my 15 year old to Mr Benjamins today. I booked him in with Harley as he has experience of dealing with male long hair styles. My son has longer hair and hasn’t been to a barbers in a couple of years due to bad experiences. Today was the 1st time he has walked out of a barbers without being upset or very disappointed. He was really pleased with his cut. Harley was very good with him and took the time to properly discuss what was required. I am thrilled with the service we received and I felt the shop was well organised and staff were very welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend Mr B’s.

Perfect service. Was my first time and was a little nervous about going in just for a beard trim (not much hair on top). But the guy i had did a fantastic job and stopped me looking like a hobo. If you want the best cut, this may be it. But at what cost? Appointment system is a bad joke. You have to book 3 weeks in advance, and I've been canceled on 3 times now because they post days and take reservations, then cancel on you, 3 times... I paid for every visit I missed. But nothing is done about the 3 appointments that were canceled? Then I have to wait another 3 weeks to get back in? Or find a walk in place at the last minute? I'll just stick to the walk in places.

Best place for a fresh trim in Lincoln! Been living in Lincoln the last 4 years now and been to pretty much every barber in the city at some point but this is by far the best. The 4 lads that work there always make you feel very welcome and always have a good chat and even a bit of banter with you. Recently they have started offering complimentary expressos (at no extra charge) which is a great way to add that little extra touch to the experience. I've had trims from 3 of the 4 lads and they have all been spot on with no issues. Rob is the barber I usually go to and he will always give a 5 star trim, he always gives you a cut that suits the type of hair you have which can be quite difficult with my kind of hair (thick and Curly) and his skinfades are always on point again giving you a fade that suits your hair and head as the same type of fade doesn't always work on everyone's head. I always get compliments from people in work about how sharp my trims look! The price can be a bit off putting at first sight but I can assure you it is worth every penny for the quality of the experience you get no matter which one of the lads you see!

Excellent! Personally I am very cautious about getting my haircut (great hair etc...) and as such I had been looking for a barber as I couldn't get in to my usual place as they were booked up. I booked in with Ollie and wow, the results are fantastic. A great cut but it was also the bits around the cut that were excellent, like explaining what he had done and how he had cut my hair, seems silly but for me that really did go the extra mile and Ollie definitely took the right amount of time. Can't fault the service or the price, even informed me that the price was going up next month but I will still pay it.

I’ve been a customer of Mr Benjamin’s for two and a half years now and can confidently state it is the best contemporary barbers shop in Lincoln. Their use of digital appointment software means you can easily book on their website and the reminder 24 hrs before your booking proves a useful memory jog. Walking in to the shop you are always greeted by the staff and made to feel welcome. The team always make sure there is a fun yet professional atmosphere. I always book with Ben and when it is my time to take the chair he always discusses options with me and is always happy to advise and guide with his many years of professional experience. The major difference at Mr Benjamin’s to other high end barbers in Lincoln is that you never feel they are rushing. Appointments (hair only) are generally 30mins in length enough time to get the perfect cut. Mr Benjamin’s also offers beard styling but due to my lack of beard I’ve never partaken. I can confirm that the whole team at Mr Benjamin’s are of equal standing to Ben himself creating modern contemporary haircuts and I would be more than happy to have my hair cut by any of them. Price wise you get what you pay for, if you want a quality haircut from a team that take their time to understand the needs and wants of the client for under £20 I’d consider it excellent value for money. Having seen the shop already double in size I hope to be a client for many years to come and see Mr Benjamin’s go from strength to strength.

Now he owns Mr Benjamin's he is really in his element and has been able to influence and train other barbers such as Harley, Olly and Rob. The best Gents haircut you will find in Lincoln. To be able to sit and relax whilst getting your haircut in this day and age is a very rare thing indeed. I have tried multiple hair dressers from all over the country when working away and I find the whole affair to be a business transaction and that's it, a quick snip here and buzz there, give me a tenner and "NEXT"! This is absolutely fine if your in a rush or you are happy to have the basic bit off the top and short back and sides. Personally however I prefer to have a more relaxing memorable experience with someone who seems genuinely interested in the end product, which is exactly what you will get at Mr Benjamins. As you enter you are greeted by the team, who will ask you how that holiday you went on was or how the Rugby is going etc etc. After asking what you would like done to your fine mane, Mr Benjamin will go into detail of how he will complete the desired style. Very relaxing music, a chilled atmosphere and friendly chat flows as my slightly greying hair hits the floor. The finished product has never been anything short of what I have asked for. Seriously, I look a dream when I leave here! Mr Benjamin also sells a number of products which i honestly can not rate highly enough, they are little more expensive than the traditional bits you buy at Boots but they are worth every penny I promise! Some times hard to get booked in but that's part and parcel of being bloody good at what you do, so book early people!
