I had my haircut today with Will who was lovely. I booked last minute and turned up a few minutes late which was no problem for them. Will talked me through everything he was doing, held good conversation and we even started chatting with another client and stylist which created a really nice experience. I’m very happy with service and how my hair looks a feels, even if it was just a quick tidy up.

Lovely staff, I really like them. The salon is great, atmosphere, equipment all good. But please don’t assume anyone can cut curly hair. They say yes but not really. I had a lady that was the best I’d had in a long time but even then I had to redo all the styling when I got home. Another staff member (really lovely chap!) brushed out all my curls, twisted chunks, chopped into it (presumably to reduce bulk) then couldn’t get the curl back so got a curling tong. A re-wet would have sorted most of it. I wouldn’t have left a review but I’ve just cancelled my last appointment and wasn’t asked why. Still in search of the holy grail…….

Clean and tidy establishment. My hairdresser was a friendly guy who held a good conversation and my hair cut was drastic but really pleased with it. Layers were cut quite heavily and high up into my hair which I’m personally not that keen on now it’s no longer blow dried to perfection- however, still a lovely job. Worth the price for the service. And the girl who washed and massaged my hair/head was fab.

EDIT: Thank you Claire and Laura!! Visited again today (November), below written in August. Delighted after my 2nd visit. So happy and relieved to have found a hairdresser who just "get" what I want and recommend the best. After a really awful experience at Toni & Guy in High Wycombe, I was a little suspect to visit T&G again... but my visit restored my faith in the brand and I'm so happy to have found a hairdresser who I will return to again and again. (I've forgotten your name, I'm so sorry!.. awful with names) but my colorist was incredible. She really knew her stuff - I asked for balayage - thinking that's what I needed for the look I was going for, and she advised highlights (which are perfect). THANK YOU to the lovely ladies who were so chatty, great energy and made me feel really welcome and relaxed and I love my hair. Looking forward to my return in a couple of months.

I visited as I am changing my hairdresser. Was impressed with the consultants I met and the whole buzz of the salon. My consultation was free. I am having my hair cut and coloured there in a couple of weeks so will be able to judge better then.

Blown away by the customer service I received here over the past couple of days. Went in wanting a change of hairstyle. They happily obliged and seemed genuinely interested to help me make a change. I had a colour and a cut. The next day I wanted some further lighter bits put through my hair and they happily sorted this out too. Very good service and lovely people tbh!

I always receive a warm welcome, the salon has some very talented stylists, so even when I can't book in with my trusted hairdresser, I know I'm in the safe hands of the other stylists. I no longer live in Lincoln but I still go to Toni&Guy Lincoln as I don't think I could change hairdressers now!!
