First visited this salon in May this year and every experience I have had has been excellent. David is great at cutting and colouring my short hair and always listens to what I would like and advises accordingly. I have always received excellent friendly customer service, even if my appointment has been slightly delayed due to a previous client I am always informed and made to feel valued as a customer. Everyone I know comments on the improvement in my style and colour since I have been seeing David and I get lots of compliments. The fact I can make appointments on a Sunday is a huge bonus for me, and even though Covid transmission safety measures are still in place, it hasn't dampened my experience and I always enjoy having my hair done. Highly recommend.

Visiting lovely city Liverpool with my daughter for her birthday I needed a haircut desperately. Booked appointment with the castle st salon. The whole experience from entering the salon to having my hair washed and cut to leaving was so welcoming and friendly. I’m so pleased with the cut of my hair . Would definitely recommend

Carla is amazing. In 52 years - and I cannot state this enough - she's the only person who's been able to turn my wild alpaca hair into something edgy and cool. A statue should go up in her honour. All the staff at this salon are polite, helpful and full of smiles. 10/10 would deffo recommend.

Fabulous staff was delighted with my wash and blow dry. I like my hair straight and the stylist did a great job she didn't even have to use hot iron/straighteners when I was on holidays for a few days fitted me appointment very quickly thanks girls may - (Irish girl lol)

I went to the salon today 29th July . My hair was a mess after lockdown and needed a really good cut. It was an amazing experience Nikki was my stylist and she was absolutely brilliant 👏. Very patient understanding and has made the best job on my hair. I have always wanted the full Andrew Collinge experience and today I really feel I got it. Excellent experience from start to finish. Yes slightly pricey but it’s top notch service! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and top of the range products. I tend to go with stylist Helen as she’s fab but all the staff are more than experienced! If you’re a student, don’t forget to use your discount too!

Went for the first time in this big,salon a few weeks ago and was really pleased with the experience. I normally go to a salon closer to home but this particular day it fitted in with my plans to have a blow dry city centre. A friend had recommended Michael and I was glad she did as it was a lovely experience. He greeted me at the desk which put me at ease and then took time to check exactly what I wanted. Great wash and the head massage was wonderful and relaxing, my blow dry was fab and Michael very pleasant and chatty whilst working. I really liked my hair and it stayed in for three days which is unusual, I will definitely go back to Michael and the salon when my plans require a central hair do. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the price which was a lot more than I usually pay but that's location for you !

I have been using this salon for over 10 years now and would happily recommend it to anyone, I have had several stylists over the years but David has been cutting my hair for the past 5 years and I have never walked out with that 'oh no' feeling - my hair is very fine and difficult to style and I walk out every time feeling fantastic - I also have foils done and they turn out brilliantly. In addition to hair the salon does beauty treatments and I have had waxing, eyebrow and eyelash tints and nails all of which i have been delighted with. The salon staff are welcoming, the trainees washing hair give a good wash and often a lovely massage on scalp, neck and shoulders which is a great relax in an often busy day. I over the years have had that sinking feeling when leaving a hairdressers but never at Andrew Collinge - long may this continue - thank you to all the staff especially David for looking after me and making me feel good to go ;-)

Went in to get my hair cut, came out with a colour fix, haircut and blow dry all for a reasonable price! The staff were very friendly and accomodating and the price was very reasonable. This is the only place I've had my hair done at that managed to fix my hair colour exactly the way I want it! I'm very pleased and will definetly come again :)

Have been a customer of Andrew Collinge for several years. I always get 1st-class treatment. I have my hair style-cut, colour redone regularly plus wash, treatment and head massage. I am always offered coffee as soon as I walk in and treated as if I am special. Can thoroughly recommend Andrew Collinge.

Love going to get my hair done in Andrew collinge castle street. I am met by Dion who takes my coat and offers me a drink. Then Jordan ushers me over where she makes me feel at home and ready to do my hair she is amazing as she took over another amazing lady Amy whilst on mat leave. Feel relaxed straight away nothing is too much they cater for all your needs. Jordan in Amys absence has settled me in and does an amazing job on my hair. As I am awaiting my dye to set Dave the manager comes to see me to see if I need anything. All I can say what an amazing team of people I look forward to my visit all the time. Jordan is professional and amazing and I leave the salon satisfied. I just think this needs to be raised with Andrew what amazing staff he has. Jordan, Amy, Dave and Dion make my visit relaxing welcoming and an enjoyment. Anybody considering going there please do they make you look amazing and they are considerate to your every need. Please go amazing salon 😘

I never had a regular hair salon before I started coming here. It's been a few years now and I'm still more than happy to come back. I'm not a "typical" salon visitor, I don't know a thing about hair, clothes and makeup and possibly look like I was just dragged through a bush, yet the staff here have never made me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome like I have experienced at other places. Always polite, the atmosphere is big, fresh and airy, music is never too loud or booming. Tea and coffee is always offered, staff are quick to check up on you and apologise if the wait seems to be a little long. Will keep returning.
