I had the most lovely lady do my hair at this salon, I didn't catch the name unfortunately. But bless she really had her hands full with my hair! I'm super fussy and protective and she managed me with such care and skill, talked me through her methods and did literally the most amazing job ever. My hair is super thick and hard to manage and she brushed it with such care and did everything I asked her for! Went above and beyond and even had a laugh with me there too! Amazing asset to that shop and more that lady!

My favourite place to go in Balham for a haircut. Everyone is friendly and the 4 staff who have cut my hair over the past 4 years have all been of excellent standard. I started going here as I was sick of getting dodgy haircuts on occasion at other places.

Fantastic saloon filed with talented people. Ola, Lizzie and Nora have done an incredible job. Plus the ambiance is really friendly. Don't want to talk? No problem. Feeling chatty? You'll always have a great person to talk to.

Very happy with my haircut from the female stylist that kindly stayed close to closing time tonight to cut my hair (didn’t catch her name, but would like to know for future visits!). She was very pleasant to talk to whilst I was having my cut and was also offered a beer on arrival. Will continue to use as my local!

The staff are nice and it’s nice atmosphere. Never have to wait too long for someone to be free. However, sometimes when I asked for a fade I end up with the sides fully shaved off and look like a lumpy egg with a Mohawk. Happened a couple of times with different people, but most of time a good cut and what I asked for.

Been going to Anthony's on and off for 10 years, and I've always had a great experience. He and all of his staff are friendly and extremely competent. They always ask in detail what you're after and then take their time. The service has been consistently good and the prices have barely moved in the last decade. There are too many places in Clapham and Balham where you get shorn like a sheep in ten minutes for the same amount of money. Stop suffering bad haircuts and go to Anthony's. You won't regret it.
