I walked into the saloon (I love that the vinyl was this!) & was greeted in such a polite manner & given an appointment there and then which was super handy. The haircut was done in such a professional way, asking what I wanted, how I styled it, the best way to accentuate my facial features & tips & tricks which I will never forget! BOOK IN WITH ORAN! My husband got a haircut and beard cut and thank god he did. It is such high quality and suits him so much more than his previous haircut by someone else. The first hair cut after lockdown and what a great experience it was! I was looking rather ridiculous after so long without a cut, but Oran knew exactly what would work for my face and my hair type even when not having cut my hair before. I was a bit undecided about what I wanted when I went in, however Oran put me at ease immediately and was really helpful, providing different suggestions and options that might work for my hair and the type of style I was interested in. I was so impressed with his attention to detail and the exceptionally high quality customer service he provided, from start to finish he made a huge effort to make me feel welcome, comfortable and at the end of the cut I felt so much more confident than I have in such a long time. Will definitely be booking in again and would highly recommend booking in with Oran - you will not regret it!

Googled best barbers in London as I was fed up of our local barbers giving my partner cuts which 8 times out of 10 had to return to have it rectified. We tried Truefitt & Hill and even though the cut was excellent, I had to ask the barber to go shorter as the style was old fashioned and it is aimed more for the older traditional man. Originally booked in for a different barber but got a call in the morning to let us know he was not in. My partner desperately needed a haircut after lockdown so decided a different barber was better than no haircut. My partner went in with scarecrow looking hair and came out looking a different man and smart with his hair looking thick and no thinning patch. Amazing how a good barber makes. I could tell Fabrice took care in his cuts and the finish was excellent. I could tell partner looked petrified when he first sat in the chair but he ended up very happy with his cut. Would highly recommend even though it takes us 1½hrs to get there and will definitely be a regular from now on. A big Thank You Fabrice for making my man look a handsome man again and not the scarecrow he did before you did your magic.

I have managed to walk into this place various times and I've just left here after another great haircut with oran . This guy is a work horse he took my appointment even before they openned up the place looked impecable and the smell from their funky diffuser and the towels is beautiful .

Went in for a beard sculpt with Rui. Experianeced such a professional service, attention to detail was brilliant. He made sure I was informed through out the beard trim so the end result was exactly how I wanted. Finishing off with hot towel treatment before a cut throat shave to clean the beard edges and then cold towel treatment and beard conditioner at the end. ...highly recommend for that 5 star barber treatment that so many places are lacking now a days.

Always love coming to the shop as the team are really fun and deliver exceptional customer service (nice coffee/drink as soon as you walk in and always super friendly). These guys are the best! Great atmosphere, friendly and professional. Connor gave me one of the best cuts I have EVER had! I never felt rushed, he took the time but was quick enough. Very talented, not just a job for this guy, he is an artist and it shows through his care in his work. Barber Barber is first rate on all levels. They play good music and have a bar downstairs, and bring customers drinks or coffee while they get their hair styled or beard shaped. I can usually walk in without too much of a wait, and I can count on all the barbers to be friendly and to do a great job. Their barbers are trained at their own academy by talented teachers, so the methodology they use is consistent, as are the results.Today I got both my hair done and the beard I've been growing recently shaped for the first time, and like always I feel totally refreshed. I never understood before why women were so attracted to going to the hairdresser as a freshening up ritual until I experienced a "manly" version of a salon experience at Barber Barber, and now I'm hooked. It is where any man who wants to be pampered in a manly way should want to go.

"You won't get a better haircut in London today" he said, and you know what.. I do think he was right. I won't pretend to be able to know how Dale gets right what so many others have got wrong with how my hair grows and lies, but 2 weeks after the cut is normally when the look starts to fall apart for me, until Barber Barber. This haircut keeps on delivering the right look with ease for longer than I've got any right to expect... Getting good personal service before the cut too is a bonus.

The best haircuts bar none. Their unique ethos is to give you the best cut that genuinely suits you, so you can skip the tricky 'what are doing today sir?' 'tidy up please' ritual and just let them crack on as you sip your complimentary beer/short. Indeed requests for on-trend cuts that just won't look good on you may result in polite directions to an obliging salon. The team are taught by Dale Watkins, an internationally recognised classically trained and talented stylist/top bloke. The quality of cuts should be priced at least double the rate -so definitely get involved!

Having longer hair it’s notoriously difficult to get a decent haircut. I’m used to growing it for months only for a barber to ignore what I asked for and chop it off, and even when they don’t, 99% over the time I’m disappointed and have to give it a couple of weeks for it to grow out. But Dale sorted me out a treat today!! A masterclass in understanding customers individual hair and how it naturally falls. Best haircut I’ve ever had. Plus he was a funny f**ker as well, and there were top tunes playing. Finally found my barber after 37 years!

I didn't know that haircut could be such a science until I got to know BarberBarber. They are very meticulous and they take their time to make sure that customer is satisfied. Lewis did a great job last time, same applies to all the other guys in past sessions

I visited Barber barber at spitlefields shop this afternoon for a haircut. The barber was called. Rafael. He done an excellent haircut for me he spent a lot of time and attention to my haircut and made an excellent outcome of my haircut. He was closely supervised by the senior barber. However the senior barber gave him some guidance but let him get on with it. Which I thought was good. . Rafael is already a excellent barber and I wish him all the best with his bright future in his barbering career. This was my second haircut at barberbarber and I would highly recommended it to others for a excellent haircut.

Today was the second time that I was there and I can said it´s the best barber i´ve ever been in London. Fascinating place with very nice vintage decoration. You can have a coffe or a beer watching a BBC documentary while wait your turn in a relaxing atmosphere. The enviroment is young with nice music and the hairdressers very kind and proffesional. they are not simple hairdressers they´re experts hairdressers. Highly recommend the Soho and Spitalfields branches. Went to the Soho branch, opening day today. Fantastic experience as always. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent haircut - easily the best I’ve had in London. Special mention to Adriano (Soho branch) and Connor (Spitalfields) branch. Never left those places feeling disappointed. A decent haircut in the heart of spitalfields market. Good guys, good products, good equipment all in a shop unit space. Tries to be an authentic London barber but in a shop space is a bit fake. Also a quick standard barber cut and a tidying of the beard came to about £60 - pricy and you can get a lot more for £60 else where. I recommend Ted's Grooming room as a better alternative in the same price bracket.
