P. F.When the restrictions were lifted a little while ago I took my 11 year old son there for the first time and was very impressed. Clean, friendly, great haircut and complementary soft drink. We told my 17 year old son about it and he went out of his comfort zone and tried it instead of his regular barber, now he won't go anywhere else. I took my 11 year old again this morning and it again absolutely brilliant. Can't rate highly enough. Definitely recommend 👌
P. K.Very smart shop, reminds me of a couple of barber shops in Brighton. I passed by on Tuesday for my 2nd visit but didn't stop as there were about 8 men waiting, decided to try again early on Saturday morning and I was lucky to find I was the third waiting for 3 barbers.
I told the barber exactly what I wanted - not a straight forward clip job. The guy used a lot of scissor work and achieved what I asked for. I've tried most establishments in Penge and this is the best for service (offered a choice of drinks) made to feel comfortable and calm while I had my hair washed, cut , dried and styled.
The name Barber Boss is a bit strange but catchy
I've got 2 stamps on my loyalty card so I'll be back by half term.

I have been in the hair industry for over 15 years and have used dozens of different barbers in that time, I can honestly say that Abbas is up there with the very best when it comes to giving you a haircut, it’s not just a haircut, I went for the barber boss special where Abbas or one of his staff give you an amazing male makeover ie haircut, eyebrows trimmed, ears, nose, forehead hairs are all removed expertly, you then have a hot towel, shave etc, then finished off by applying great smelling aftershave. I honestly think I looked 5 years younger. Cannot recommend highly enough.

z. h.Since coming to London I have been plagued with overpriced, poor haircuts from the so-called high end “salons”. I never once had my hair cut in a way that I felt comfortable with – that is, until I met Abbas (owner of Barber Boss) in Penge. I decided to try a vintage style haircut and was extremely pleased with the results – the short faded sides are amazing giving you a trendy look! I know I will be back many times although I travel from Streatham (I know you must be thinking it's madness) – but hell Abbas is a serious technician and artist. Abbas knows exactly how to cut my hair and has great imagination in creating something a bit different. I have no plans to visit anywhere else for my haircuts. I highly recommend him. Cleanliness is pretty impressive...I am fussy when it comes to hair cuts but the patience that Abbas has shown is unreal. Try him out! You will not regret it...

D. S.Really cannot speak highly enough of Soran and the team. I took a punt and went there for the first time a couple of months back and the level of care and attentiveness was second to none. Soran listens to what you're looking for in a cut and is clearly a man who takes pride in his profession. Their prices make a mockery of the tens of trendier barbers that have sprung up in recent years. I also tried the hot wax treatment for ears and nose, and the hot towel/beard trim combo - feels incredible afterwards although the nose hair removal had my eyes watering for a moment! Doesn't matter what hair length or style you have, the fellas are experts and masters of their craft
