OUTSTANDING! Having spent the last year working in a top salon I was blown away by the service at Barber Streisand. I initially chose this place because I was so pleased to see their gender equal pricing. Most places are comfortable charging women extra based on gender but not Barber Streisand! This also provides accommodation for queer people like myself to go and get a haircut without worrying about the perception of their gender. Not only is this the most COVID safe establishment out there but the decor and quality of service are 10's across the board. Today I was excited to try out a new style. I saw the lovely Jess who made me feel completely comfortable and delivered a 10/10 haircut. I am over the moon!

Finding somewhere you can get a consistently great haircut in London can be a bit of a minefield so when I found Barber Streisand, I didn’t turn back. They usually had me in the chair within 5-15mins. Lately, I’ve been working with Dan. He is hilarious and always has a great interpretation for my haircut. Can't say enough good things about Barber Streisand's! I've had lots of great cuts and beard trim/styling done there. The prices are fair for a trendy central London location and you get a loyalty card there too with every sixth cut free. The staff are super friendly and chatty as long as you want to be, and happy to get on with the job if you don't. The decor is simple and uniquely trendy. It's a nice environment! I always ask for Danny as I like to find a Barber who knows the wants of me and hooomungus nut, and he's tip-top at making me look better than my usual sub-normal self! 😄 Though, I've also had cuts from Jarek in the past and they've been great too. I'd recommend this place all day long. Just ask for Danny!

The accept walk-ins but best book a week in advance otherwise you will wait around an hour. Had a fresh cut from Danny today, he made sure to hammer down exactly what i wanted before starting to cut to ensure I didn't walk out crying. A fantastic place to get a cut. Everything works really smoothly; booking online is a painless process, and I've walked in on occasion without any difficulty. The barbers are fantastic and know their trade well; with a basic fishbone structure of how I used to have my hair and what I want to do with it (low maintenance, but something I can work and style a bit if I want), Danny's able to give me a fantastic cut that works. Playlist is great, price is fantastic (the loyalty scheme is great), and on the occasion I've had to wait, the shop and Exmouth Market in general are a great place to spend time of an evening.

He's a great laugh to talk to but knows when to concentrate and get on with the job as well ("zones in" as he likes to say). Everyone friendly, you get a loyalty card so after filling the card, you get a free cut, products they use are good quality as well (american crew). Great cuts and great atmosphere. December is the time to go there. They really go all out for Xmas. The cutters dress up as elves and you can ask them to sing a Xmas song while they cut the hair. Don't know if they'll have the wooden reindeer this year.

The staff o so friendly, with their skill, knowledge and styles this qwerky wee salon is the best one for miles. Pop down to the market, and go take a look it's service with a smile and you don't need to book. You'll have the best bloomin' barnet you ever did see, and after your 5th visit, your haircut is free! So get yourself down, and go take a seat, for the follicle frivolity down this quaint little street. You won't be disappointed, for that there's no doubt, so next time you're passing go give them a shout.
