M. D.I can't recommend this barber shop enough! Gender neutral prices mean that as a woman you can get a short haircut without paying double what a man would pay for the same cut. You won't be judge there either, just feel free to be who you are! Cayden and Lauren both did my hair, and both gave me great cuts and were very friendly. The space feels safe too, despite being so small, everybody's wearing a mask, which is rare these days... I'm so glad I've finally found my barber shop in London, I just wish I had found them earlier!
M. G.Lauren has cut my hair twice. Every morning when I wake up and look in the mirror I can't believe how much I love my hair; I didn't think this was possible. I've even had a compliment from a stranger who wanted to know where I got my hair cut and so I was able to recommend. It's feels safe masks are worn by everyone, temperatures checked and LGBT+ friendly. It's a small place so you might have to book a couple of weeks in advance.

a.I don't care how long it takes to cross London, absolutely the best place to get your hair cut and not pay extra for your gender. Love the work and the salon, keep on being amazing!
N. L.I’ve been growing my hair out the whole pandemic and decided I wanted a big change, so went for the long to short cut! Joshua did an amazing amazing job and was also super lovely, patient & creative. I wanted it the shortest I’ve ever had it so was a little nervy but I truly felt in such safe hands. I’ve had loads of compliments from friends and family already & (more importantly) I love it!!

A. D.I love this haircut so much more than I thought it was possible to love a haircut. They're really relaxed and friendly, they really listen to what you want and then they perform miracles. I'm getting so many compliments. I wanted an asymmetric, choppy low maintenance, androgynous/masc looking haircut but with a fringe and I showed a couple of pictures without much hope that I would get anything like that but I got a haircut that was even better than my wildest hopes. I look like a rock star. 11/10 I will be coming back again and again. Well worth traveling out of your way for.
A. S.The staff are friendly, and the environment is welcoming. Cayden did a brilliant job taming my lockdown hair. I can also confirm they're LGBT+ friendly! no akward conversations on why I want a 'masculine' haircut 🙂 I've already recommended them to friends, and will 100% be going back.
J. A.I've had a lovely experience with Joshua at Barberette today.
I gave Joshua pretty much free reign to do as he thought was best with my mop and I was absolutely not disappointed. Joshua done a really good job, and it was nice to know I was getting a decsnt cut whilst supporting some great people.
I will definitely be back, and shall be giving Klaus cuddles on my return.
