Please don't be put off by the sparkling "open" sign and back lit lettering of this South London gentleman's barber. The interior is wood, brick and warm comfortable leather. Allow yourself to be treated to a wash, cut, hot towel and massage. I left feeling rested and refreshed, my wallet and soul surprisingly fuller than I expected. Bravo!

I had the full service with straight razor shave and I must say it's the first time I've been shaved without a single nick or snag. On the first day after lockdown my usual place was shut. I found this place and saw it had very good reviews. Due to this Ive decided to try it with the full head massage and flaming. I can tell it is one of the best haircuts Ive had in my life and one of the friendliest staff Ive ever interacted with. I have now returned once more, asked for a different haircut than usual as I wanted a change and not only the staff was able to adapt to my request and help me find a style, but they also have done it to perfection leaving me happy once more. In addition, the use of small flames to get rid of little ear hairs was both a surprise and a very different experience. Popped into the Salon on the off chance as it is conveiniently located on the high street. Was received with a very warm welcome from gentlemen who I now know is the owner, Adam. I asked for a simple beard trim and tidy which was executed superbly and with skill. Accompanying extras were given in the form of a head, arm and hand massage plus a hot towel to finish it off. Overall a super experience from an owner who cares about his craft. If you’re in the area (or not) I’d recommend popping in, you won’t be disappointed.
