Excellent Bohemia salon, no Carl Gambrell – advice for new clients Walked in mid-afternoon on a Friday with no appointment and the team was very accommodating, fitted me in just after 20 mins of me walking in. I had a wash, cut & style with Angelica. She listened patiently to my hair troubles, treated my hair with real care when I mentioned the damage due to health problems. For my particular case, I really appreciate that she took the time to check by asking questions making sure I was comfortable with what she would do. Also, she offered the best overall advice from my experience to going to different hairstylists on hair care/health. The lady that washed my hair was friendly and kind, offered me drinks, perfect job on her end too. The other hairdresser on the day was a gentleman (I believe Luke was his name?) and he is a true professional too. While waiting for my appointment I had the pleasure to watch how meticulous he was, taking the time in each step to create what was wanted and not just for one client. I would recommend him as well if you are looking to book a service at Bohemia. Overall, it’s a professional salon that still maintains the charm of what salons were, with a modern look and a family/friendly atmosphere. (These are my true observations as a walk-in client with no knowledge of the rank of the hairdressers mentioned) Don’t be fooled by ‘Carl Gambrell at Bohemia’ listings online (Treatwell especially) as it’s the most misleading marketing, not tolerable in this day and age. I originally came across his listing and not the REAL Bohemia salon. He has used the same professional photos from Bohemia’s listing, along with his description paint the picture of a celebrity stylist that recently opened his salon. It shows he’s always available for bookings at this salon. Imagine the surprise when he was nowhere to be seen at the salon and had not been in all day. I was one click away from losing my money and a whole unnecessary confusion, complication etc if I didn’t decide to take a 24 mins walk to the address. The truth is he rents a chair at Bohemia salon and is lucky that the real founder of this salon puts up with his unprofessionalism which would only reflect negatively on the salon and with new clients. I would urge you not to book with such a sneaky individual when at the same address you can put your trust in just as talented people.

My wife and I have been clients of Bohemia Hairdressing for years. They really look after you from the moment you walk through the door. Luke and his team always have a smile for you when you arrive and there is a relaxed and friendly vibe in the salon. They really take time to listen to what you want and ensure you are happy with the results before you leave. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Great place, highly recommend!

I had my first appointment at the salon 2 weeks ago and was so impressed. Angelika really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered to perfection! I found and booked an appointment at this salon via Treatwell after living in the area for many years and never really finding a “regular” spot I’d like to go back to. Super happy with this salon! Everyone was so lovely and welcoming. There was a short wait which everyone was very apologetic for. I had highlights and a cut / blow dry and she did a lovely job (I only wish I got her name!!). Will definitely be returning and booking directly with the salon.

I have been using Luke at Bohemia for several years and would recommend him to anyone needing an excellent hairdresser. He has great flair for design and always listens to what you want although I always leave it to him to suggest a style, which I have never felt confident to do with other hairdressers. Since I have been going to Luke I get constant compliments about my hair. I have sent many friends there including my 80 year old mother who have all been delighted.

I got a cut, blow dry and really natural balayage colour for my hair today by Carl. Would highly recommend this salon to anyone! Carl was amazing, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Very welcoming and classy place. Staff are very friendly, helpful and very well trained by the boss. Was even offered a beer whilst a waited. I don't normally get my hair cut at a salon (normally bog standard barbers) but there is a definite difference in the level of service.

I have never reviewed anything online but feel compelled to review Bohemia... Relevant points: - I don't live in Hammersmith or Chiswick but still travel to Hammersmith to get my hair cut. Yes, they're that good!!! - When I lived overseas for a number of years I used to fly back to London just to get my haircut by Luke. - Luke has been cutting my hair for over 20 years (s###! just realised how old I am) - I tell Luke what length of hair I want and leave the rest to him. Great hairstyle every time. Never disappoints. - Always getting compliments on my new hairstyles. - Over the years many of my friends have started going to Bohemia and none of them live local to the salon. (I think this tells you everything you need to know about Bohemia) - Everyone at Bohemia is very friendly and courteous. They are always professional in their approach to the work they obviously love doing. I am happy to strongly recommend Bohemia!!! Keep up the good work guys :)

Carl Gambrell Ammmazing I found Carl about a year ago after seeing Celebrity 5 star reviews on hes work, so arranged for Carl to do my hair Extensions, i have had Extensions for 15 years nearly and he knows my hair and how i like it (like no other) perfect install everytime and cuts my hair perfectly If i could give this man more then 5 stars i would! He takes hes time with you and never rushes a job making sure everything is perfect (he is a perfectionist) not only does he do a great job on my hair hes also one of the nicest people making you feel completely at ease 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
