Had no clue where to go and saw that Chop Chop had great reviews, so I went. Can't say enough good things! Lee was really lovely, chatted to me all the way through and checked with me to make sure that my fringe, haircut, and curls were exactly what I had envisioned. It was a slow day and she spent extra time to make it the best. I'm so glad to find a salon that is gender + texture inclusive, uses sustainable products AND is an affordable and quick option. I had my first post-lockdown haircut on Saturday. It was my first experience at Chop-Chop and my appointment was with Delian. He gave me a dry hair restyling, and i honestly felt better than I ever have leaving a hair salon. And in 35 minutes to boot! Delian is a real professional and a true. He was also a total joy to talk to. He knows his stuff and was able to advise me on how to adapt my haircare routine to reach my style goals. The salon is "open air" within the indoor shopping centre, which is reassuring during covid times. I highly recommend Delian and will definitely be coming back!

Brilliant service used many locations from Old Street 1st, Westfield and Wembley. Met the owners who are down to earth and good people. Offering a good service, good rate and easy to pay, quick service. Missing it dearly as my hair has overgrown but will wait. Give it a go as your hair will grow!!

The staff are always friendly, cool, very professional and they understand exactly what you want! Amazing pricing and location! They only use cruelty free products, which is a plus for me!

I love these guys. Prices are low, staff is always professional and caring. I have been using their services for over a year now and i always left happy and satisfied with service provided (haircut for long thick hair).

First got my 3c-4a hair done by Kadeem (Afro specialist) when they first opened and she was amazing. I've been a few times after and my hair was done by European hairdressers as Kadeem left - not as good as Kadeem as they are less accustomed to my type of hair but have done a good job whenever I had a last minute event that I want to straighter my hair for. It's a bit like russian roulette but I don't mind because I can restyle it or, if worse comes to worse, I can go back to my home close by and do a 'wash and go' (which has not happened though). I give 4 stars because they always trim it well regardless and its for a decent price and availability - can usually be seen within an hour or so. They claim to be for every hair type but not so sure about this at the Westfield location, I believe they do have afro hair specialists but I've only seen one 2-3 years ago at this branch. I'm mixed but if you have a thicker or coarser type 4 hair I would recommend speaking to them in advance so they can best advise which branch to go to or find some where else.

She listened to exactly what I wanted and informed me of the price before cutting. She did a great job and was such a genuine person, definitely going again!

Angela was fantastic, listened to what I wanted and gave me the most beautiful soft long layers. She also added some volume spray and blow dried to give it some extra oomph. It was my first dry haircut and Jen did exactly what I asked her to do. She was friendly, funny and easy going. My hair is really frizzy and when combed it looks ridic, she asked me how I wanted it finished, and she suggested blow- dried straight. I left the place with 100% decent hair for £20. I'm giving this new popular pop up kiosk five stars before they've even started on my family's hair because it's a no frills approach to getting the job done. No fancy bamboozling stuff about length of hair, difficult textures, split ends, lectures about your neglect, or pushing 'mountains' of confusing products at you. What you get is what you see, a no nonsense sensible trim, solid cut or a defined makeover choice from one of the 20 hairstyles in their booklet NO differentiation between male and female... 20 minutes in the chair for £20. With barbering averaging £15 and women's cuts at £35, this is now a level playing field. A family can now get plenty of change from a ton if everyone isn't clamouring for a cut at the same time. I'm aiming to take my youngest son here whose hair is very thick Louis XIV length and is decorating everywhere at home after over three years of escaping the scissors. I'm a desperate woman who is even prepared to pay his hairdressing bill to avoid any more mayhem at home. NB people who have very long thick hair are advised to arrive with their hair freshly washed and damp to make it easier for their hairdresser to get to grips with. So yeah there's no head massage with perfumed conditioners and loads of bouffant blow-drying. My Goth son would run screaming to the hills if there were. You can buy other merchandise if you fancy it. Glossworks nail varnish, posh perfume and gift packs for a loved one. But the real name of the game is hairdressing, pure and simple.
