First discovered City Hair over 10 years ago when a hairdresser left me with orange instead of blonde highlights. Terry sorted out that mess back then and he has been doing my highlights every since. Hands down, THE best hairdresser for highlights, great colouring and neatly placed highlights. So natural! Very professional service overall, fair prices, added bonus is the loyalty card.

I've been coming here for five years now, and I'm relieved that with the opening back up of the city and our offices, I can come back. I've not had a good haircut at any of the places I've tried near home. I've always had a consistently good haircut here -- one that doesn't look too severe or shaved like a barber. I was lucky enough to have Roy colour and cut my hair on Saturday. I had a full head of highlights and a lot of length taken off with long layers cut in. This was my first time here as I've just moved to London and Roy was so kind and I am so so happy with my hair! I had a fire toned balayage done by lovely Sam. She was so straightforward that the colours I was expecting may not come out as expected as I have very dark and thick hair. She did her best and this is the result. I can't fault her service, only 4 stars because when I was enquiring, the other lady said it doesn't matter how many times I'll get bleached the price is the same but when I came back, additional bleaching session will cost £70+ more.

Been seeing Gill at City Cuts for years and never a bad hair cut. She’s got a lovely personality and great sense of humour - hope she’s treated well by management as she has quite a following and we wouldn't want to lose her. She's probably one of the best around. City cuts is very reasonably priced and I know the other stylists are good according to locals that use the salon. My son uses it too having tried a few barbers/hair salons locally and has always been happy with his hair and the fair price.

Managed to get a next-day appointment for a wash, cut and dry. I didn’t catch the name of my hairdresser but she was a delight - sat me down on time, was very attentive and did a fantastic job of listening to what I wanted before expertly cutting and styling my hair. I'd tried a few hairdresser's in London and had always had negative experiences and felt like I'd made a lot and not got good value for money until I came to City Hair. My stylist was friendly and professional and advised me on what colour highlights to have. I was really pleased with the outcome. They look natural and she was honest about whether I needed a toner or not (at other places they've forced me into using toner when I don't think it was necessary). Fantastic value. I will definitely be going back!

Had a full colour and cut and blow dry and I was really happy with both. The colour is really deep and with lots of tones, I wanted a bit darker than my previous colour and it is perfect. The cut was just what I asked for and best cut I’ve had in a long time. I was even able to go out for meal with friends the next day without doing anything to my hair other than a quick brush which is a first for me because my hair is so fine the style doesn’t normally stay in. Really happy. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of the stylist but I would definitely recommend her.

I highly recommend Sam at City Hair, who I've been to regularly over the last couple of years. She did a fantastic job sorting out my messy mop after six months off due to COVID. The salon was COVID-aware and staff wore visors and masks, there were plexiglass screens up and customers were only allowed in one at a time and had to wear masks too. I felt very safe and she did a wonderful job.

I went to City Hair after month of damage using shelf products and home colouring of my hair. As a result my hair had become such a mess and a colour I could no longer recognise. Jilian did such a FANTASTIC job with the Balayage, I easily look 3 years younger. The haircut she gave me and the colours she chose complimented my face shape and skin tone. I get a haircut that suits me, suits my lifestyle. They are excellent and never pushy. They don't force treatments on you that you're not comfortable with and they don't treat you as an unwanted customer because you don't want those treatments.

After a bad haircut and a slightly better fix at another restaurant, I decided to try City Hair as it has the best reviews for the area and very reasonable prices. Staff were welcoming when I walked in and able to have appointment that day within 30 minutes. Hairdresser was lovely and knew my hair history just by looking. It was like telepathy, she knew how to make my hair look and feel better and make it suit my face. Hair looks and feels amazing even after several weeks. The haircut was ok (trim) but I didn't know that if you don't pay for a blow dry you leave with wet hair ! I asked then if I could finish to drybthem myself, the hairdresser joked that indeed it wasn't a good weather for wet hair but pretty much didn't dry it more so I had to put my beanie on when I left because it was really cold !!! I left looking like a wet dog... Won't come back to this one, in Angel I was also happy with the results AND my hair was dry !!!!

Just Brilliant! Probably the best hairdressing salon I’ve been to. My hair is quite wild, wavy and often unruly hair which makes day to day maintenance quite difficult. Over the past years I have struggled to find a stylist that could take control of my mane with the good cut I was looking for. Luckily I found this salon with the perfect stylist for me. I’ve had my hair cut and styled at city hair four times now, and my stylist always knows just what to do to. It’s been two weeks since my visit and I’m still loving my cut and it’s getting me the occasional compliment too! That has never happened to me before. The salon its self is very tidy and well decorated. I will be returning again, and I’m kind of looking forward to getting that fresh new look feeling.

I have been using them for more than 10 years as I used to work 5 minutes away. As they were always able to fit me in at short notice when I had limited time. I have found them to be generally reliable, friendly and very reasonably priced for central London. I have used a couple of regular hairdressers in the past but in the last few years Terry's my hairdresser! He knows my hair and what suits me and what I like especially as it has grown longer. He’s also warm and friendly. I now work further away so it takes me longer and more inconvenient for me but I still make a point of going to Terry. So a big thumbs up from me. Jenny.

The only place in London that I can be sure will do my highlights exactly as I like. Vangalis has been my hairdresser for years and has never failed to give me an amazingly sexy and manageable hair cut. Before I never knew getting your hair cut was supposed to be so good. Up until then, I was having more bad hair days then good! Mainly because many hairdressers will try and hide a bad cut with the use of products. Many also lack the creative flair that the hairdressers at City Cuts. City Cuts has not only exceeded my expectations with their cuts, but the staff are lively, and seem to be passionate about their work. Reasonably priced for the amazing job they do, will definitely be going back. All in all a very enjoyable experience. The icing on the cake was when a total stranger stopped me in the street and told me they liked my hair. That sort of thing never happened to me before. My mum, sister, brother and I all absolutely adore this salon and the lovely welcoming staff. Leona has been highlighting my hair and she always does a wonderful job. The atmosphere is unpretentious and friendly. Great conversation, cool music and always a joke or two. Although the salon often is busy, she takes the time to discuss different colouring options with me and advises on what would best suit my skin tone and the time of year. She make sure I am happy with the overall result before letting me go. My hair always looks very natural when finished and people often comment on how much they like it. The colour also lasts for a long time because Leona is meticulous in ensuring that the colour goes as near to the root as possible. I currently live in Oxford and even now I sill travel to Victoria every couple of months to have my hair done at City Cuts and Colours! I've recommended this salon to a number of friends and family over the years and all have become repeat customers.

I've been here four times now. Twice got my haircut done by Van and twice by Terry, all four times I was satisfied with the end result. Van did an amazing job on the cut. My hair is rather long and heat damaged. I asked him to cut off about inch to get rid of the dead ends and to reshape the style. I like the fact that he did not "get scissor happy" and chop off more than he should. My hair feels smoother and healthier. Prior to Van I had been with the same stylist for over 4 years, but now I think I am about to switch to Van for the next 4 years!!

Very friendly and warm place to be and have hair done.I have relaxed hair and my hairdresser is Leona,she’s pro on caucasien hair and afro hair.She’s a good adviser as each product she use on your hair are explained etc..The best I ever had since.The only down side is customer never know how hair length is charge.I paid year ago same price as my hair was medium length I cut my hair and still be charged medium length instead of short!but for £5 more City Hair worth it!!I strongly recommend City Hair,my salon is City Hair London Victoria.Love you Leona!!
