A very warm and professional business. Helen always go the extra mile to make her customers comfortable. All the staff are great at what they do. If you want a neat braid then aunty Mary is your person. Don't be put off by the negative reviews, some people can be difficult and expect you to work miracles.... this is a very professional business and you always feel welcome. Keep up the good work classy design 💖

Classy design is my go to hairdressers in south east London! Helen really takes care of her customers. I trust her with my hair. The atmosphere in the shop is great, her staff are great and they always make time and will try and accommodate their customers. I recently got my hair coloured and I’ve have so many compliments - the colour is bold but sophisticated and that was all down to Helen.

I love getting my hair done at Classy Design and so pleased I found it. Everyone is so professional and friendly and you really do feel looked after. I can't get over how friendly the customers are too and that just says alot about the salon. Helen is so warm and treats everyone with so much respect and individuality. Welcoming environment. The Salon is always clean and very relaxing. I've gotten everything done here, from single plaits to weaves, wigs, treatment, everything. My daughter also comes here every two weeks to have a wash and cornrow done - she's four and loves getting her hair done here. The environment is very child friendly. Helen and her team are very friendly and accommodative and I've always left feeling satisfied with the service i received.

I have used Classy Design, thanks to my late Mum, for many years. The staff are polite and Helen, the owner is very hands on. The atmosphere is good. Staff and customers chat away, even if we don't know each other. I wouldn't go to another hairdressers as Helen deals with me and my hair in a professional manner, even when I let it get bad lol. Highly recommended!

I’ve had 18 years experience coming to classy design. I started coming in primary school to have steam treatments which I still have now and my hair is in perfect condition, still very thick and very long. The staff are highly skilled. Professionals in blow drying which is a special technique along with steam treatments and silk pressing. I highly recommend classy design.

I have been going here for years and it's great to have a local hair salon that deals with afro hair ...... support local! Great location near to Lee Station and a few buses stop outside. The salon is always clean and my hair is always started on time. Hot drinks are served. Helen the manager is really accommodating!

Staff are warm welcoming and full of character which always makes the experience more enjoyable. Love my personal hair stylist Mary, who has been working on my hair since I've been attending. I have been coming to classy design for the past 20 years since I was 13. I think the loyalty alone should tell you that my hairdresser is my second home. It’s full of talented and polite staff who treat you like a VIP. Visited on Friday 23/02/19 after thoroughly researching. I was looking elsewhere after becoming disillusioned with my own hairdresser. My hair had become so dry , lost it's bounce and needed a good trim.I made an appointment and had my hair relaxed by Helen.My first observation was before applying the relaxer she based my scalp.That immediately made me relax.On application of the relaxer Helen enquired if I was feeling ok? She took time with my hair needless to say I had a lot of regrowth. Helen rinsed my hair thoroughly and I enjoyed the massage as she rinsed my hair.It was very busy everyone on task and friendly. My observation also was that although Helen was doing my hair she's very observant and advised her staff when required .She's also very good at multitasking. I got the impression she has a good working relationship with her staff and her clients serms to be long standing customers. I must say this was my first visit and I felt welcomed.The conversations with customers were pleasant , most importantly I'm really happy with my hair and I wore it down all weekend. The plan is also to wear it down this week as normally I have it up.It's shiny and has volume I will be using Classy Design Afro Hair Salon again and would recommend it.This is a genuine review of my experience, they had no idea I would write a review but after my experience I wanted to do the right thing and share my experience .👍😊
