One of the best cuts i've ever had, im so particular with my hair and been to alot of barbers across London over the years and Carl has done an amazing job. After a bodged cut from a local competitor, he was able to not only sort it out, but make it look better than ever. Obviously talented staff but also friendly and personable, it was evident by people coming in and calling them by name that people come back time and time again. I love barbers who are able to give advice but not tell me what to do, and explain the process. Its really invaluable service. You've got yourself a new regular and you should be incredibly proud of your business as that old school barber shop vibe is dying out and its a breath of fresh air to know it still exists.

I have had a big beard for 5 years now and its very hard to find some one that knows how to cut it. I am also growing a hander bar moustache. It is so common for barbers to make a mess of this and this has happed over and over, but not here. Very good advice, given very clearly. A good cut that looked good for some time (most last a day or two). As it took less time than expected charged me less. If you have a BIG beard or want one then this is the place to go. (This is the best out of 11 barbers I have been to in London).

Lilly B has been cutting my hair for over two years now and I genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else in London. I get a high skin fade (which is a tricky cut to pull off) and she does it to perfection each week. Tobias is also excellent and I would recommend cut & grind to anyone looking for a sharp cut/style. The shop has a fun vibe and the owner makes sure everyone is taking care of when they visit.

Best barber around, friendly, polite and good conversation, makes you feel more than welcome, has a kids play area for the kids too enjoy themselves while your in the chair. This place really is incredible. I am living in the UK temporarily and wish I could bring this place back to the states with me. Even though they are only five months into their first year in business, the owner has so many great plans for the shop and it's hard to believe that it will only get better. As for the quality of haircut, it's everything you would want; friendly, cool, and very knowledgable barbers who will exceed your expectations. I had Skye cut my hair, who I highly recommend, however I've seen the work of all the barbers there and you really can't go wrong with any of them - they all do fantastic work.

Since December 2016 I’ve been going here to see Sky. I went initially for my wedding cut. My friend who knows about the best haircuts recommended it. It’s expensive but you get the best service and actual time and consideration on your haircut. Since going to Cut and Grind, I couldn’t go back to a cheaper alternative. I tried Ted Baker round the corner which I can afford on a student deal for half the price but they do half a job and spend a quarter of the time so I’d rather get quality. Coffees are great too.

Best barber in Soho. Started using them 3 years ago and despite the Soho prices I have the best cuts I have ever had. The owner is always very kind and offers drinks or anything. The staff is always making sure we are well and if we need anything...quick mention for my barber Sky, she has been the most consistent of them all and has single handedly made me the most avid customer for the business :)

Honestly the best haircut experience I've ever had in london! The staff are so so friendly - take the time to learn your name and understand the kind of style you want that is unique to you. I've had three different staff at cut and grind cut my hair and all did a really top class job. The beard trims are spot on too - I've actually been in there just to do the beard and it's been perfect every time. Not to mention they always lay on beers, coffee and a few other crazy drinks - the whole experience is just superb! Would highly recommend it...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Had my hair cut here this evening for the first time - by a guy called Ishmail/Israel. Really good barber and very friendly. My haircut is really nice too and they offered me a variety of drinks upon entry as well as during service which is exactly the level of service you want from a soho salon! My only downside is that my hair was not washed that day and I was expecting and wanting to have it washed either at the start or at the end of the cut however i paid less than the price i was quoted on the phone so i guess that excluded the wash. Not a huge downside though and overall i really liked it here and I will probably come back! 😎

I'm not a massive fan of getting my hair cut and have always settled for whatever barbers is nearest the office, but after an improptu visit on Saturday I am seriously considering making Cut & Grind my regular barbers, even if it means making the trip from Southampton to Soho just to get my hair cut. Skye is great, the guys were friendly, and the service fantastic. The beer was appreciated too! Keep it up, you've got a great shop.

Great place! Got my hair cut here before my flight home. I was having breakfast around the corner and found this barber. There was a short wait for walk ins, but no big issue. Haircut and service is smooth and sharp. Definitely recommend if visiting the area!

Been coming here for a year now on a hair project and have been more than 10 times. One person has cut my hair here in which he has done a spectacular job. Other times I had two other guys (Sam & Davide) carry on the same work when my main guy wasn't in. Every one of them are at the upper echelon of barbering. I popped in on the off-chance as I work nearby in Portland Mews. I was placed in the hands of Tobias who did an awsome job in trimming my beard and shaping it and blending it in to my sideburns. A free drink of choice and a hot towel experience afterwards. Handy tips too on keeping your beard in top condition. I will certainly go back. Customer service is excellent.

Visited Cut & Grind in Covent Garden for the first time on Saturday and got a skin fade, beard trim and hot towel shave done by Tobias. From the get go he was Incredibly welcoming and friendly offering tea/coffee as soon as we walked in. I see Sam (Hill) who's frankly the best person I've hadcut my hair. Prior to him, I'd been going to the same guy for five years because I wouldn't let anyone else touch my barnet. First time I went, Sam gave me a fantastic service, with a hot towel and face cleanse too and I felt like a valued customer. I left that day feeling so confident and happy that I went back again three weeks later to get a refresh - I usually drag it out for as long as possible to avoid forking out, but now I want to look my best all the time, and Sam does that. Mazie is an amazing and sweet woman with very professional skills, she talks me through every step to make sure I am absolutely happy with what she is doing. Had my hair cut here a little while ago by a guy called IzI, I came in a bit late and they squeezed me in. You get a free drink which is always (booze!) IzI cut my really well, best it’s been cut for ages. I’ve got an annoyingly placed crown which makes it difficult to make look good but he smashed it. 10/10 would recommend. I’m actually going there today.

After seeing these guys on Instagram, i made sure that i made an appointment for my beard and hair during my stay in London. I picked the Covent Garden store, which is currently quieter than the one in Soho. I was fortunate enough to have Harry do my hair and beard. He spent 90 mins with me with not a hint of him rushing me through. His attention to detail is second to none and his knowledge of both beard and hair is impressive. If i didn't live in Australia, i would go no where else. I would thoroughly recommend giving these guys a go if you're in London, even if your're travelling it's definitely worth going for the experience... and the free beer/ drink! Thanks again Harry.

"Popped into Cut and Grind a couple weeks ago as a walk in, they seemed busy but managed to squeeze me in for a quick tidy up. The staff were awesome, beer was cold and the jokes plentiful... which is always a plus. My barber was in the basement which was a cool retro area of the shop and reminded me a bit of my time in New York. Trim was fresh and neat... thought I'd be cheeky and see if they had time to give my beard a trim... There was and I was grateful... The atmosphere was cool and the hot towel was a nice touch (little things and all that)- Actually regret not getting a full haircut so I could chill there longer! Recommended!

What a funky establishment for getting your boff trimmed. Feels like it's been plucked right out of hipster centra-ly in the east. The first time i visited there was a unpleasant pong that filled the air, which almost put me off (but my hair was SO out of shape that i had no choice but to hang around). On top of that, the vibe in their is very swag. Word of the day- (everyday it seems) is self confidence (which can be a bit off putting). But this is soho- central London people- so expect a bit of fresh chat. Another, more important reason i stayed, was because of the obvious skill off those whom held the snipers. Almost everyone left looking cool. Decent bit of blending. All with scissors. Natch. And on top that. And this is the dealbreaker. The beer (or coffee) is free.... "Sorry, can you repeat that?" Yes my friends, the ale is indeed free. I did wonder when i first visited why almost everyone was sipping on a peroni. It's a nice touch. But if you have more than more one- which i, of course did, you feel compelled to tip.
