c. e.If you don’t know this place or the area then ask for the best barber on site ‘Dwanye’. This barber shop has been a corner stone for the brixton male culture and the young Afro Caribbean and African community. Established as ‘Curlues’ Barber Shop 30+ years ago and under management of ‘Dennis’, 12+ years a long standing staff member from its begging. The only reason reason I don’t give it 5 stars is due to fact that unlike most modern barbers they don’t offer things like booking services, facials, hair washing and decent entertainment. Still a reliable and at times lively place full of local culture.

And as the cherry on top I had the privilege to have my beard trimmed by Dennis The Man himself... there are many barbers in The Brixton area... I’ve tried a few only to always been disappointed yet today I have found the one who’s going to be trimming my facial hair for a very long time...
