Great service and great work, would absolutely recommend. Since it was my first visit to this salon, I was a bit nervous if they'd get the colour right. However, thanks to Bilal's expert advice and the time he dedicated to finding the exact right shade, I felt at ease immediately and walked out as a very happy customer. It's great to have such fantastic service in the neighbourhood. I'll be coming back for sure!

You can measure a hairdresser by the number of people who compliment you on your haircut when they see you. I've lost count of the number of times people have said 'great haircut' to me after seeing Billy. Simply the best barber I've ever come across. My hair could be described as 'difficult' but Billy knows exactly how to deal with it. I always leave his salon feeling confident and happy. Truly, the man is a magician. Highly recommended.

I've going here for a few years now and Billy is great for both cuts and colouring, and the prices are very competitive. My hair is wavy with a lot of volume and I always have a lot of trouble finding someone who can cut my hair properly (a lot of hairstylists I've seen in the past tend to cut my hair the way they think it will work and completely ignore what I tell them will/will not look good based on my previous experience), but Billy always listens to what I want and delivers it perfectly. My hair always comes out exactly how I want it. I would highly recommend it.

Today I visited Echo of Bloomsbury for the first time after seeing the great reviews online and I was impressed by the care and professionalism I received from Billy, the owner. My hair is long, curly and not the easiest to manage, but he did such a great job with the hair colour (which I loved) and the haircut that I know this will be my go-to hair salon going forward. I recommend his hair salon to anyone no matter what their hairstyle needs are!

Billy has been cutting my hair for more than 35 years. Apart from being a nice guy, he is a truly fantastic hairdresser. I don't think I am particularly high maintenance, but on the handful of occasions someone else has cut my hair in the past three and a half decades, I have always come away disappointed. If you work nearby, or want to give your hair a treat, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Echo Hairdressing a try.

I happened upon Billy by accident, having booked with another colleague of his who wasn’t in that day. Billy apologised profusely, made me a coffee and slotted me into his first gap - and I haven’t had another hairdresser since! I’ve had both hair cuts and Brazilian Keratin treatments done with Billy and he does a thorough job and takes incredible pride in perfecting the details (he even used a tiny round brush to blow dry the baby hairs around my face!). He is incredibly knowledgable on treating hair health, and his advice is always with his clients’ best intentions at heart (even if it’s not in his own business interest e.g. I asked about starting to dye my hair as my first few greys have started to show, and he strongly advised me to wait to protect my hair). I can’t recommend and praise Billy enough - if you are looking for a hair dresser who will take a lot of time and care to make your hair looking it’s absolute healthiest best, Billy’s your man!

Found this salon by proxy and it is an amazing and beautifully laid out salon. Billy made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Surprised at his expertise with both black hair and wigs. I left feeling great and my wigs way looked better with the new oils he introduced. I 100% will recommend this salon to my friends.

When I left London I continued to time my trips to London so that I could get my hair cut here. I have been a customer since the main stylist & owner Billy took over the salon over 10 years ago & although I do not work or live in the area, this is the only place I would go for my haircut. Whether you want a straight forward cut or a blow dry or add colour to your hair Echo is far the best salon you could find in London.
