I haven’t gone to a salon since pre-covid so was super nervous about the whole ordeal. However when I arrived at the salon my nerves disappeared. I was greeted by one of the girls that work there in a friendly amazing manner, good conversation and professionalism - I felt like I was with friends. The young lady that greeted me was also my stylist and I must say that her attention to detail and engagement was delightful. I will be going back there as I’ve never received as much compliments about my hair before. I left feeling glamorous, beautiful and pampered. I willllll be going back to this salon. I believe the young lady that did my hair was Latisha or Laticia. Amazing soul and best hairstylist I’ve had by farrrr. Love love love ❤️

Quick & professional service (1hr, 45mins). I did lots and lots of research on this salon & pleased that I chose this one for my wash, blow dry & silk press... results were spot on! Elite Hair Lounge did an amazing job for my first time getting a Silk Press. This is the BEST hair salon I have ever been to in my life. I am from the United States and have been to salons before, but the level of service that I experienced at Elite Hair Lounge was unmatched. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and inviting. They were very clear with instructions. The person washing my hair did a great job with detangling my hair because it is natural. She also did a very good job with washing my hair without getting water in my ears (as this is something I am sensitive about). She was very professional with a serious, but friendly demeanor. I truly felt my hair was in good hands. Also, the same stylist who washed my hair, blow dryed it. She did GREAT!!! I have never had such an easy blow-dry. In fact, my experiences from previous salons damaged my hair years ago and caused me to not want to try and go back. However, the Elite experience was SO GOOD that I wish I would have book EARLIER!!! Also, the stylist who did my hair was effective. She was able to really communicate with me and let me know about the trimming process, how much she would trim off, and assured me that I would have hair left at the end of the process. Her procedures were clear and I felt that I knew that my natural hair was in good hands. When she straightened my hair, she did not go over my hair too many times with heat, so I know I am protected from heat damage. Also, she even added extra moisture to my hair to ensure that it was okay to have heat on it. I find that this stylist showed A LOT of care and concern. She also offered different products to help strengthen my hair and as she was doing my hair, gave me techniques on how to maintain the health of my hair moving forward. I have never been spoken to in a way that this stylist did. In my previous experiences, the stylist would just do your hair and move on to the next person. At Elite Hair Salon, my experience was truly elite and it actually made me so excited that I almost left the store without paying! lol. (I came back quickly though). On a serious note, I feel confident about the health of my hair moving forward and I PRAY you all open salons in China where I am moving next! IT WAS EVERYTHING I EXPECTED!!! I had the best experience and will defintely be going back. I dont usually go to the hairdressers as I've always had bad experiences especially when cutting my hair. A friend recommended Elite Hair lounge to me and straight away I loved the fact I could see everyone's experience on Instagram to get an Idea of what to expect in regards to the quality and going there exceeded my expectations. The music was amazing and put me in such a chilled vibe, staff were friendly and really safe with masks and hand sanitizing regularly. Shantay was incredibly skilled and made me feel so comfortable. She showed interest in my hair journey and recommended a treatment that was more suited to what I needed, which was actually cheaper then what I had suggested. This made me trust her fully with my hair, and even when cutting my hair (which I hadn't done in about 6 years) and telling her I wanted a drastic cut she took it in stages to make sure I was comfortable with the length. Now I'm 4 inches shorter (from 12 inches - 8) and from afro to straight (no chemicals used) and in love with my new style. As usual I had a great experience at the salon. I was in and out within an hour having had a wash, silk press on my natural hair and a trim. This is huge for me as time is precious. My hair is loving the products used so I couldn’t be happier. The staff at the salon are always pleasant and Juanita who does my hair is always friendly and professional. The owner of the shop (cant remember her name) was very nice and she knows what she is doing. I felt confident and safe with my hair in her hands. I got a consultation and then had my hair washed, treated, blow dried, silk pressed and trimmed. This was all £85 which I think is a very reasonable price for the results I got. I'm usually VERY critical and picky when it comes to my hair being done but I absolutely LOVED the results. I would definitely recommend this salon and I' am definitely going to be heading back for follow up treatments and trims in future.

I got my hair done yesterday and I’ve got to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a salon. Lateisha (I hope I spelled that right) who did my silk press, did such a great job. She took her time with it and didn’t rush it like some stylists do. Blow dry was painless and she took real care with my hair. I’m normally really cautious about who touches my hair. The stylist I had, whose name I don't know as she didn't bother to introduce herself, was clearly over it to and I had to really prompt her to give me info on maintenance and after care. Excellent service and beautiful styling! Lia was a great stylist, where others have failed me with my hair; Lia was seamless and smooth. The treatment was amazing and finished silk press looked really good. She identified and explained/showed me problem areas with my hair; informed me on what I/we need to do to resolve them. Lia spent a good amount of time on me yet I did not feel rushed or like a problem, if anything a valued client. Even being in the salon, there were good vibes between other stylists and clients, another stylist tweaked my hair a little and you could see Lia was open/humble, no issues! Unfortunately this hair salon has gone a bit down hill. I’ve been going for about 8 months, a regular. But many of the old hair stylists have gone. I’ve often had to wait quite a long time (15-20 mins) to see the stylists as they turn up late if you book a morning appointment. The salon opens at 10am but those who open it don’t show up until 09:59 basically. Meaning they’re opening the store when you should be having your hair done. Sometimes the towels have not been clean and they smell. The last time I went there they had no hot water and offered to wash my hair with water they boiled in the kettle. I was told by the stylist there was limited hot water the day before as well. I feel they should have showed up earlier in the morning before opening time, checked the water, and called clients to inform them there was no hot water. Also, the music in the salon is far too loud, and the stylists aren’t very attentive, don’t come to get you straight after the dryer comes off etc... just sat there waiting. On a positive note, it is a salon that encourages healthy hair, and by and large, they won’t damage your hair, but they need to work on the quality of the service. It used to be a pretty decent salon but I certainly won’t be going again.

Rodene as per worked her magic like the pro she is; always offering advice on what cuts work best, how to maintain healthy hair, and providing in depth knowledge of areas that may need working on and how they can be overcome. I’ve always had a distrust with hair salons but I really needed a trim and some guidance by a professional and this salon was recommended to me by a friend. Really easy to book with them, they text you a day before your appointment as a reminder also giving you the option to either cancel or postpone your apprountment. On the day of my appointment I was feeling SO nauseous! But the team helped me out so much! Super helpful, super caring and just genuinely kind. I cannot remember my stylists name, but she was so lovely. She was lightskinned and seemed like she was from the Caribbean. Was so pleased with what she done to my hair. The stylist gave me excellent service as always. However I booked with that particular stylist and for some reason it was not on my booking when I paid for my deposit, I requested her. This was an oversight that the receptionist I spoke with did. So I had to wait till she was finished with 2 other clients, so was much later finishing. Other than that everything else was fine.

Haven't had a silk press in 2 years (when I did of course I went to Elite then too and had Lia who did an amazing job). Anyway. This time - again.. . LOVED IT. Loved my stylist (Latisha) and all the other stylist it was nice to see they all got along and a nice vibe. Music playlist was a really nice touch too. After I saw my hair finished I felt sooooo fly like fly fly. Latisha did an amazing silk press and cut, and really paid attention and even asked another stylist opinion which shows they value each other. The curls at the end just made it look perfect.

Really nice, professional stylists and good atmosphere. Got a silk press and trim done on my natural hair, with great results! I didn't get any heat damage later on either. Only downside I would say is that later on I noticed my hair smelt like it was burnt. It wasn't actually burnt but I think it was because the stylist needed to clean the hair straighteners. My senior stylist was Kaifaayty(Sorry if spelt wrong) I had the texture release treatment (by kera care/Avlon). I choose this service as I have natural long hair 3C/4A hair, which after a blow dry and press tends to revert back after a while so wanted something that would help keep it straight longer and easy to manage generally. I wasn’t sure about the Keratin straightening as I felt it may be too harsh. Texture release seemed like a great natural choice with less chemicals and lasts up to 3 months with care. I was the first early morning appointment the process can take up to 3hrs. Mine took 4hrs as I have thick long hair! The result was impressive was straight and beautiful how I wanted it. The ladies that work there were hospitable and they offered refreshments. They were very informative on the process and after care help. Will definitely return really happy with my service. 😍🙏🏾

I had a silk press done on Thursday of last week, it's now Friday and I've washed my hair, my curls are back and popping!!! This was the main thing i was apprehensive about, but i have zero heat damage. I could have easily gone another few days with my hair straight but I get bored easily so on to my next style. I was greeted nicely by the receptionist, who took my coat and asked me if I'd like something to drink. Straight in and had my hair washed which wasnt as aggressive as id like but still very comfortable and I was then brought through for my blow dry. My hair was straightened by Porscha who was able to answer my questions on the products i'd need to use, she was friendly and got me chatting! And advised me to get a trim, which I did- she also showed me the before and after pictures that she took to show me the health of my hair. I did not get burned once, lol, something I'd experienced multiple times in one sitting with a hot comb as a child. I left my hair was blowing in the wind, was straight and soft and definitely silky! I used to relax my hair but never had the results of this press, so much body and life. It is a but pricey when you think that you're just getting a style that will only last a few days but I'd be happy to do again, for a special occasion, especially knowing my hair is in safe hands Thank you guys!!

Wow I can finally say iv found my go to Afro Hair salon. Iv not been to a salon in over 5 years due to the stigmas based on salons but I can honestly say these ladies know what they are doing with natural hair I had my hair wash treated and I had an elite silk press the service took just over 2 hours which I think Is good time considering they were quite busy. I was offered a drink on arrival and my stylist (iv forgotten her name) was very informative and gave me a new regime to follow. I would definitely recommend this place!

I really do love this hair salon, I've been going here for a while now and the staff are always so lovely. Unfortunately it's not the same as it used to be. I was in the salon for 4 hours today when there really was no need. Some of the staff are extremely slow and whilst I appreciate them handling my hair with care, it almost seems like they have no clue. I'm also quite annoyed with the fact that when I'm given a price at the time of booking it's always higher when it's all done. Hopefully my next appointment will be better. I must say I have been coming to do my hair at elite for couple months ( lewisham branch) everything about the way they do things is just on point I had a silk press and cut by shikisha and she was amazing my hair looked amazing, But got my hair washed and treated and massaged by Zena. I first attended this salon a year ago after seeing amazing progress pictures of natural hair clients. Upon entering, my coat was taken and I was offered a cup of tea. The stylist was extremely knowledgable and took the time to talk me through my hair type and how to care for it. The finish was great, it had the L'oreal " Because I'm worth it" swoosh. This was my first time getting my hair washed, blowdried and trimmed professionally since going natural and the whole process went really well. I felt really relaxed and enjoyed every bit of the experience, I even pre-booked another appointment for the near future. I highly recommend Elite Hair Lounge! Two different stylists worked on my hair and both were great. I came there with my hair in two cornrows/dutch braids and the head stylist (who also trimmed my hair) was kind enough to braid my hair after all the work had been done :)

Service was A+++++ Wash (very well done and gentle detangling 4C hair) Treatment (put me under a dryer with a cuppa :-) Blow dry (amazingly done ) Trim ( more like a cut because my ends were bad) Cornrows (8 going backwards - so I could put on a wig) Advice ( trims, hair care, wig use) Total - £65 Time - 12.40pm - 4.20pm Talisha and her team were welcoming and made feel very comfortable. I'll definitely be back there in 3-4 months. I went there on a Tuesday and it was moderately busy but not packed. Be sure to pick up the loyalty card!

I literally love Rondene!! She so professional and friendly she makes me feel very comfortable when I get my hair done. Starting off with the manager always doing my hair when I first started going to elite hair lounge I thought no one could be as good as her, and then one time I went to someone else at the elite hair lounge and she was lovely but she was too slow and I thought omg I can’t deal but I knew the manger wasn’t there as much as before. But when I called up the receptionist asked me who I wanted and I was like don’t know she said I will book you in with Rondene. And with that BANG! She brilliant at what she does her knowledge on your hair what’s best for it how she does it so for me I always get a perm and a cut and I always leave feeling like a new woman!
