Super happy I made the choice to try out a new salon. Thrilled with my haircut. Martin has such a calm professional energy and I felt like I had had a massage after the appointment! Ha Very glad I have discovered a new hairdresser in Martin and looking forward to my colour next month! :-D

As someone who finds getting their hair cut a chore; usually I just find someone cheap to do it quickly, However, I thought I'd give the friendly-looking salon near mine a go as a Xmas treat (although more expensive than I would usually pay). I was surprised to walk out having had a really pleasant time and getting exactly the haircut I wanted. Becky took the time for me to explain what I was going for, measured carefully and checked constantly if I was getting what I wanted. So, I guess now, I pay slightly more for my haircut - will definitely go back.

It has taken me a long time to find a hair salon that ticks all the boxes and that actually makes you leave feeling pleased with your hair! Customer service was great, very friendly staff. The salon is clean and tidy, I adore the plants dotted around everywhere! Sylvia's experience and wisdom really shine through. She was determined to be satisfied with her work, and was quick and efficient in the application process. Very honest, polite and easy going. Really impressed with her knowledge on bleaching, and the time she took to make sure there was the least damage to my hair as possible. She finished it off with a shaggy wolf-like cut that framed my face, while still keeping the length of my hair. I'll be back Sylvia, thanks again!

I am very happy with the experience and the result! It was my first cut after the pandemic break and first time with Viann, so I was a bit nervous, but she put me at ease - she is an excellent professional who took time to understand my needs and to communicate clearly what was possible to do in my circumstances. The cut turned out exactly as I wanted! The salon experience overall was also great - everyone is really lovely. Highly recommend! Edit: I just saw that there are people who seem to have had a bad experience - I have also had bad experiences at salons. I have learned that for me it came down to not being able to communicate clearly with the stylist and making sure we are on the same page. Saying not just what you like and want, but also what you don't like and want, and making sure the stylist also understood this. If you aren't sure they got you, don't trust them, or simply aren't confident in their skill, leave, because it just creates bad dynamic for everyone. We would't eat at a restaurant that doesn't match our taste, so why would we get our hair cut somewhere we don't feel confident in? I have thick, dry and very straight hair, that tends to look flat. I came prepared with info and photos of: texture I want (whispy, light, with movement), the general shape of the cut I want (angled or straight), how much hair I want next to the face, etc . I also came with pictures of styles that I want to avoid. I was also clear about what from each photo I wanted "this is an example of texture" , "this is an example of shape", because photos of styles show heavily styled hair and that can make it difficult to "read" what part of the style you want to replicate. I remember I came once to another salon with a photo of a whispy, dramatic style close to an undercut, and I got a heavy, blunt "square cut", that aged me 20 years. I simply did not know what either styles were called, or how to communicate with the stylist effectively, so I agreed, thinking they "got what I meant", when they did not. So learn cut names, texture names, and what impression you want to give - romantic, dramatic, edgy, classic... because what one person finds annoying, another person might find fantastic, and a stylist cannot read your mind, and they will work with your hair natural tendencies, which some of us don't like.

He manages to understand and predict my vague requests and deliver a haircut that I am always happy with. Visited the salon to take advantage of the first time visit discount to get full head of colour done. I had to push for a colour patch test as they casually said on the phone that if I had my coloured many times it will be ok. The stylist who did my hair was great and friendly but the result didn’t turn out so well. Asked to lighten my dark hair but turned out black and darker than my natural hair colour. It took months for the dye to fade and a diy job to fix. A real shame because I liked the stylist and salon.

Great haircut from Sebastian. First time there and he cut my hair perfectly add I wanted it. No other hair stylist or barber has done such a good job. I'll definitely be going back there.

ESHK reponded quickly and effectively to the review I posted previously when my appointment was cancelled at short notice, and I've now had an excellent haircut by Ramón. I've had great experiences at all their branches previously and am pleased that my complaint was resolved so well.

Had my hair done by Gianluca and I love the cut! I have long curly hair which can be unruly but he was able to give me layers and texture without it going frizzy (something which most hairdressers seem to struggle with). He listened to what I wanted but also gave good professional advise. Would definitely recommend.

I’m not usually one for reviews but WOWZA - I have only good things to say about Aiste and the crew at ESHK! After a few failed attempts at finding a good hairdresser (just for a cut) in London, I was a little skeptical going somewhere for a full transformation. A friend recommended ESHK and I have never looked back. THE BEST! Aiste is a hair wizard!! She worked her magic taking the utmost care when transforming me from a natural mousey brown to a bleach blonde blunt bob. She truly listened and understood what I wanted, made me feel at ease with my big change, and delivered! She took into consideration my hair history, even going so far as to test my hair to check its condition for bleach - she actually cares! I couldn’t fault her, nor my cut and colour - an absolute perfectionist. And this wasn’t a once off either, Aiste consistently blows me away! I still get compliments on the colour/tone and the amazingly healthy condition of my hair - I told you she was magic!! I wouldn’t trust anybody/anywhere else! Actually, all of the staff are super friendly; it’s a great vibe there so I love going into ESHK! A huge THANK YOU to Aiste and the team! TL;DR - you won’t regret going to Aiste or ESHK!
